The difference isn't huge and, who knows, their albums could in fact be the exact same amount sold, BUT the route Bey and Rih take to get there are very different. Rihanna absolutely NEEDS singles. 45S performance is only an indication of bad things to come. The last time this happened, we had Rated R sales.

If anything, Unapologetic sold like 100k less than "BEYSTIALITÉ" in pure album sales
however, the difference in single sales more than makes up for that gap
not to mention, a much higher percentage of Unapologetic's sales came from outside the US ..... Poor local white chicken
