I'm sure El Perdon could do fine in the US if it was played on the radio, especially with 40 million Spanish speakers living there. But radio DJs are a bunch of assholes. Just remember how they treated Psy's Gangnam Style compared to Maroon 5's One More Time despite the former selling far more than the latter.

The sooner radio dies as a format, the better.
