well i personally could care less about the charts or rihanna or cb...i do agree to AN extent but I'm not gonna refute the song. I like it, it's catchy and poppy and cute. My parents have raised me and taught me better than to let a song (let alone one from a pop gorl who can't write her own **** and a...well i'm not looking to get warned) influence my decisions/lifestyle.

Well the issue is how it rings in the domestic violence issue, and I'm guessing you have no connections to that world So it's understandable that you wouldn't get worked up over it.

I went to college and grad school, and I NEVER found a use for them. If you take good notes then you should be set. Not to mention the reading is always due before the class, so a student should be prepared pretty well.

What classes are you thinking of using it for?

i've used them before but to be honest I usually end up just using my notes

If you often miss what the professor is saying/aren't the best note taker, I'd say go for it.

The only time a recorder helped was when I had to write a paper based on an orchestra performance (for obvious reasons)

my Bio class
it's very lecture based and I find it easier to remember things from listening than reading and I sometimes get my notes ****ed up
I don't know...it costs like 50$ and i don't want to spend money for nothing but I'm so damn lazy in class

In that case, I'd recommend getting study buddies rather than a recorder. Sounds like if you're lazy about going back to your notes, then you'll probably get lazy with going back to listening to the lectures If you take messy notes then getting with groups would help that, plus talking out the material would fulfill your auditory learning skills. And, group study sessions are free and social. Win-win-win.

I go to visit my mom on weekends, and she has some weird sleeping schedule and sleeps like 20 hours a day, so she's not there to give me any guidance sometimes.
I end up staying up really late, and so I fall asleep at like 7 AM, and wake up at like 3 PM, then repeat since my sleeping schedule gets ****ed up. I'm at my godfather's house, the neighborhood where I go to school, and I can't sleep because of what happened over the weekend. I normally get it all fixed by Tuesday night.
