I don't think the hell comment was necessary. But look, Comedy Central already defending their stars.
Comedy Central @ComedyCentral
Taylor Swift says there's a special place in hell for Tina Fey & Amy Poehler. It's the part of hell where they only play Taylor Swift music.

Amy playing it safe. Praising and apologizing to the Lord, not wanting to have a song written about her.
Iseeu Amy.

I don't get all the articles and gossip tv shows saying she's telling amy and tina to burn in hell lol this is literrally all she said about that part.
Quote:
"I was just sort of like, Oh well, you know, I can laugh at myself," Swift, who was supposedly in the bathroom when it was going on, said of the hosts' riff on whether or not she should go after Michael J. Fox's son or indulge in some "me" time.
"But what it ended up adding to was this whole kind of everyone jumping on the bandwagon of 'Taylor dates too much'—which, you know, if you want some big revelation, since 2010 I have dated exactly two people."
|
worst of all they both commented on it now so they think she said that too. That hell bit had nothing to do with Tina and Amy (nor did she tell anyone to burn in hell, she quoted hearing something from Katie Couric who quoted someone else).

If Taylor Swift stopped producing hits right now, at 23, she could tour a killer oldies show for the rest of her life. Her catalog is already jam-packed with acoustic gems ("Fifteen," "Mean"), country-pop relationship anthems ("Sparks Fly," "The Story of Us") and stadium-size epics ("I Knew You Were Trouble," "State of Grace"). Swift grew up obsessed with the Dixie Chicks on a Christmas tree farm in rural Pennsylvania; she started writing songs at 14 before moving to Tennessee. It didn't take her long to conquer the Nashville machine – or to break out of it. She's sold more than 25 million albums, recently dominating the pop charts with her dubstep smackdown "I Knew You Were Trouble" and the bubblegum stomper "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." No matter what she does musically, Swift has chronicled growing up and navigating tricky relationships better than anyone else in the 2000s. "I know general things about love," she told Rolling Stone last year. "How to treat people well, what you deserve and when to walk away. Other than that, love is a complete mystery – and that's why I like to write about it."

Hmmm... I was wondering, are those negative comments about her on those articles reflecting what the gp are thinking about her?
And I always find it funny whenever I come across comments like "I used to like her but", "I used to defend her but"

Did you just realise it now? And nah, there are also a lot of stans who jumped the train, I find it to be quite sad instead of funny. You can tell the difference between stans who jumped the ship or the fraud ex-stans.

I read the interview for a second time..... I didn't like it as much as the first time I read it. The problem is not with Her, but with the write-up.

Not people literally JUMPING on her cuz they thought that maybe possibly kinda she said the Katie Couric comment towards Tina and Amy, even though in the full interview its not like that at all Absolutely pathetic Some people are just so damn desperate its kinda sad. Like literally JUMPING on her, like 5 seconds after the article preview is published.

If only Taylor had kept up her personal blogs and videos. Imagine if we'd get her thoughts and responses to the golden globes, media feeding frenzy and other stuff without the middle party that's looking for the sensationalist, negative angle. I think those early blogs were one of the major factors along with her music that created her connection with fans, and I blame her PR people for it Bing discontinued. That or her business advisors felt she shouldn't write her blogs because they generated no direct income. In any case, very shortsighted of whoever made the decision.
