Paris Hilton Headlines YouTube Music Awards
The YouTube Music Awards (commonly abbreviated as a YTMA) is an awards show presented by YouTube to honor the best in the music video medium. The 2014 edition of the YTMAs were held at New York City's Pier 36 and were broadcast live at Youtube.com/YTMA. The awards received homepage promotion by YouTube as the stream took over the main page, the show was also sponsored on Tumblr and Twitter to attract more attention. A promoted #YTMA trend was boosted ww throughout the duration of the show and Tumblr promoted the show as well with a mini version of the live stream on every Tumblr page. YouTube and other stars also helped promote the show through their social media accounts.
Paris Hilton headlined the show with an opening performance at around 6 PM EST. She also had her opening performance broadcast live on ABC, she concluded the performance letting viewers know they could continue watching the live stream award show on YouTube.
Performance:
The performance started with a huge beach ball descending onto the stage. Paris was inside the beach ball as she moved around it as it fell down to the stage. It bounced across the stage with Paris moving around while girls in bikinis ascended from underneath the stage. One girl took a huge needle and popped Paris' beach ball. Paris then got out of the beach ball and threw the deflated mess away. She was wearing a pink once peace with high heels. She did some choreo with her girls, getting low to the ground as she lip-synched her way through "heartbreaker". A huge tank of water then came up onto the stage. Paris and the girls got into the massive tank of water and swam around while more beach balls came flying down into the tank, just like a fun day at the beach. Paris looked into the cameras and licked her finger, she was being very sensual. She then started touching the other girls while heartbreaker continued playing, she didn't even bother lip-synching at certain points. The girls then got out of the tank and did more choreography as pyrotechnics came down onto the stage and fire shot up out of it. A broken heart prop then came from underneath the ground, Paris sat on top of it as it rose up in the air. The song ended and Paris told viewers that were on YouTube to stick around and told the ABC viewers to watch the rest of the show on YouTube.
Paris stuck around for the rest of the award show and went home with two awards for her "heartbreaker" music video. She won "Breakthrough of the Year" & "Video of the Year" and thanked fans for voting for her before leaving the show.

Pixie Lott performs and gives interview to Jimmy Fallon.
Today to end the week Pixie went to promote her new album, that’s been out for a week now, and will tomorrow peak somewhere on the charts. So to end the promo she went to Jimmy Fallon show. She not only performed a song from the album, she also chatted with Jimmy about her new album, about her life and other things that were interesting to the host, she was evry open and Jimmy liked it, she answered all the questions nicely, and without any talks backs, she just said everything straight, without any no’s or I don’t want to talk about that, she was 100% open, not every celeb these days is that open, some hide their secrets, but not Pixie, she’s an open and brave girl. Even if Jimmy was a bit too much, she still didn’t resist an answer. You can read the interview between host and Pixie below, it was truly good.
Fallon: Hello Pixie, you look really nice, and beautiful and I love your style it’s so retro and funky, just a rare thing to see on a young girl, you are 23 right, and look so good with retro style fits very well.
Pixie Lott: Thank you very much. I just really love retro and all that throwback style, and I just think it fits me well, I can’t imagine myself in other clothes, I just think retro is my main style, and I feel comfortable in clothes like that, they fit me well and that’s all that matters I guess.
Fallon: Well yeah definitely, and you’re new album it’s very great, and sounds also very great. I love how electro-pop it is, it reminds me on Marina & The Diamonds, also Sky Ferreira, and Lana. Was there a bit of a mix up of these girls styles?
Pixie Lott: yes, I wanted to do something like that, I’m a huge fan of those girls, and I thought that their style of music might inspire me, so I sat and started listening to their music, and then ideas just flew to my head, I wrote so much I can fill 2 more albums, and yeah hopefully they will come out at some point in future, just need to see how everything turns out.
Fallon: It would be really good, if you released more songs, because your album is just amazeballs, and to have more songs like those from it would be a dream, because I love music like that, and not a lot of people make music like that, and you just did and it’s now on my repeat all this week, I just adore the sound, the lyrics, everything so good.
Pixie Lott: Thank you, I’ll be sure to release some will have you on my head, if you want I could send you some songs that didn’t make the cut, but they are same style and also really good, and I love them, so if you want, I can send them to you.
Fallon: Yes, please. I want it so muh, btw you offered su 1 free song, of course for people who bought the album, and it’s sinking heart right, and I thought that it’s amazing, and really retro, something different, that’s why it was for free right?
Pixie Lott: Yes, Sinking Heart, it’s a retro track, and I didn’t went that style for the album, so I decided to give this song for free to people who bought the album, I think it was a great idea, and people seemed to be happy. I did it with Toby Gad, and we both had amazing time in studio, and well it was great, really happy about this track.
Fallon: You both surely did a good job, and you should be proud. So also we found out that you are dating Calvin Harris, is that true or not, cause we are interested.
Pixie Lott: Yes we are, I didn’t want to start something but to kills the rumors, yes we are dating, we both fell in love while working in the studio, and he is just such a gentleman such a nice guy, I love him so much, plus he’s super hot, and smart, dream man.
Fallon: Happy for you Pixie, any single by the way are coming from album, because songs are all good, and single would be amazing at least one.
Pixie Lott: Yes it’s coming at some point and I just can’t wait to share the news with you all, got to wait a bit, but it’s coming just wait, and music video is also done so double fun.
Jimmy: EXCITING, can’t wait to see and ehar the single, I have heard it already in all honesty, because it’s from your album, and it’s out so yeah.
Pixie: That’s true, but it’s gonna be good, I promise, at least video will be good, and I hope you all will like it, cause I surely do, and I’m really happy about it, such a great and touching song, but can’t say anything more, just wait and see.
Fallon: So I guess that’s it, will you perform for us now, because I can’t wait to see you perform never seen yet, and I’m excited.
Pixie Lott: yes, I will I’ll go get ready and I will perform one song from my album, not the single though, I’m not revealing anything yet.
Pixie started her performance of Eyes Full Of Salt by coming on stage, sitting in the chair, and just singing, she looked incredible wearing a short black dress, and a pair of beautiful heels, she sounded amazing, and her voice was so pure and mesmerizing, she looked into the camera, and sounded amazing, she not even showed audience a good look, but also served fantastic power and energy, she showed emotions, and everything was just so real, and good. Pixie ended her performance by standing up, and lots of people a choir appeared behind her and ended with the high note, performance ended.

Paris Hilton On Z100
Paris stopped by Z100 for a live studio interview which lasted about 7 minutes. The interview broadcast live on Z100 and was also uploaded onto YouTube. Paris released the lead single to her upcoming album or EP this week after a week of pre-orders. Heartbreaker soared to the top position on iTunes after the release with the help of radio deals, iTunes banners, and other promotion from Paris throughout the weak. She has been able to maintain her success and is ending it off with a big push for her single. Paris' interview was introduced by Z100 playing 30 seconds of the Junkie XL Remix to "Heartbreaker" featuring Britney Spears. Paris talked about what it was like to work with Britney in the studio and how Britney is such an inspiration to her, she talked about how the American Dream album really inspired her upcoming music and lyrics, and that she's working with many of the same producers to get a similar sound.
Interview Highlights:
-Hi Paris thanks for stopping by
Paris: Thank you for having me
-So what was jail like?
Paris: It was awful, thank god Daddy bailed me out.
-He did? How much did he have to pay?
Paris: I'm not saying, it wasn't a lot though.
-Your new song Heartbreaker is doing really really well, did you expect this positive reaction?
Paris: Well yes I mean I did a lot to make sure it would do well you know..
-When can we expect an album from you?
Paris: I don't know about an album, uhm.. maybe an EP or something. I don't know.. I'm kinda unsure about what I wanna do to be completely honest. I love "heartbreaker" and the first step is making it a hit, which I think I've done..
-The music video for "heartbreaker" is receiving a lot of praise, how long did the shoot take?
Paris: It was a long shoot, yeah.. it took like forever.. if you tune into VH1 Top 20 countdown today you might see some footage.
-Who inspires you?
Paris: Britney Spears, Pixie Lott, Rihanna, a lot of people do. I love hot pop stars.
-Do you support driving under the influence?
Paris: Oh god no! It is such a stupid thing to do, I feel really bad about doing it and I wish I could take it back. Nevertheless, I don't support it and you have to be stupid to drive while drunk. Yes, I just called myself stupid.
-What do you have to say to people who complain about your lip-synching?
Paris: I don't lip synch.. I'll prove it, hold on. -love is a game that only fools play-. See, I can sing!
-Well uh thanks for that Paris, anyway.. here is Paris' hot new single, heartbreaker. Playing at the top of the hour every hour on Z100.

Paris Hilton On Ellen
Paris Hilton stopped by Ellen today for an interview and performance of her new single "heartbreaker". Paris talked about her upcoming music and said that she wasn't sure whether to release an extended play or a full length album, she said that she had enough music for both. Ellen said that she wants Paris to release the full length album so she can enjoy lots of bops like heartbreaker. Paris also spoke about her time in jail and talked about how that "Paris Goes To Jail" special was made, she said that she didn't intentionally shoot the footage on her phone for the special that she was just recording and Fox asked Paris to use her video footage to show how drunk she was. She told Ellen that she made the deal in order to have Fox pay off some of her bail and promote her single "heartbreaker". Paris also talked about her mini Netflix series and said that it was really fun to shoot, she talked about what it was like to work with American Horror Story's dear Jessica Lange saying that she is "breathtakingly beautiful on the inside and out". Paris continued to talk about her music and music videos for her song, talking about the metaphor behind the heart and saying that both the lyric video and official video took long to make. Paris talked about her love life and confirmed to Ellen that she's "single and ready to mingle". Paris also stuck around for a performance of her "heartbreaker" single and asked everyone to "buy Heartbreaker on iTunes" before performing.
Performance:
Paris was wearing a long pink dress as she stood on center stage while smoke surrounded her. Paris sang the first 30 seconds of "heartbreaker" a-capella, and this time she was actually singing. She didn't sound perfect but she did sound pretty good. Fire shot up on the edges of the stage as Paris sang and raise her hands up as if she was raising the fire out of the stage. After 30 seconds, Paris ripped off her pink dress and revealed a pink lingerie set, she threw the mic stand to the ground and a bunch of men in suits came to pick Paris up, giving her a head mic. Paris lip-synched her way through the rest of the studio version of "heartbreaker". She did miniature choreography to "heartbreaker" as she kicked/elbowed/pushed the guys away from her while keeping her eyes set at the camera. She then said "that's how you handle heart breakers", a bunch of ladies came onto the stage with pink hammers and started hitting the guys with them as Paris did a few dance moves. The girls then threw the hammers and danced with Paris to the ending of "heartbreaker" while smoke surrounded the stage. The girls ended the performance holding their hands on their heart. Ellen then looked into the camera and told viewers to buy heartbreaker on iTunes as she held her hands on her heart.

Heartbreaker TV Spot
A new TV advertisement aired today to promote Paris Hilton's lead single, Heartbreaker. Paris released the song after a week of pre-orders and has done much to promote the single. The advertisement serves solely to promote the "heartbreaker" single and Remix EP. The pop single is heard at the intro of the advertisement but transforms to two variations found on the remix, hip-hop and EDM, respectively. It seems as though Paris hopes the advertisement will target a large demographic as it will feature three different genres of music.
The advertisement starts with Paris strutting down a completely white room while the original version of heartbreaker plays. Paris walks up to a white podium, on top of the podium lies a heart glowing red and beating quicker as Paris moves closer to it. Paris takes out a dagger from her white nurse costume and stabs the heart as the Scott Storch remix of Heartbreaker begins playing. Paris picks up the dismantled heart and looks at the camera laughing. Blood then drips down the ad until the ad is blood red, Paris is lying on top of the blood naked, the blood is covering her important parts. She rolls around in the blood and laughs while the Junkie XL remix of heartbreaker plays. She laughs as her voiceover says "get heartbreaker and all the remixes, exclusively on iTunes now".
The advertisement is being heavily pushed on all major television channels around the world. The ad will be in constant rotation on MTV/VH1, it will also play twice an hour on popular US channels such as FOX, CNN, and ABC. Paris is pushing this advertisement with a large money supply, making sure her ad will be played during the most popular shows on television. Paris will also make sure to have the advertisement play during any show she appears on.

Paris Hilton On VH1 Top 20 Countdown + Behind The Scenes Of The "Heartbreaker" MV
VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown is a weekly television show where the host counts down the top 20 videos of the week. Paris appeared on the show as a co-host for a special "Paris Edition". Paris counted down the top 20 videos of the week while praising various artists on the countdown such as Britney Spears & Taylor Swift. Paris talked about her favorite album stating that she loves American Dream by Britney and Pixie Lott's new Trapped In Flashbacks album. Paris count down videos all the way to the #1 which unsurprisingly was Paris' new music video for "Heartbreaker". The video aired in full and after it aired Paris began talking about what it was like to record the video. Paris said "It's very interesting the process of taping the video actually but I'd rather show you than keep talking about it". Paris then announced that she would be displaying an exclusive behind the scenes look at recording her latest music video.
Behind The Scenes Of The "Heartbreaker" MV:
The behind the scenes special starts with Paris in the wedding dress crying in the bed, she laughs and looks at the camera and says "I'm supposed to be crying". The video then displays a logo for the behind the scenes special, after that it goes to Paris waking up in the morning with no makeup on. She gets up and puts some makeup on while talking to the camera "we're about to go shoot my video for heartbreaker.. the song's not even out yet but by the time anyone sees this it will be out.. the shoot is gonna take three maybe four days just because I have so many looks to do and I don't wanna do it all at once, I'd prefer to spread it out. I didn't have to learn any major choreography or anything like that, there's not really any dancing in the video it's more of a story."
Paris then begins driving to the set after putting makeup on, once she appears on the set she smiles at the camera and says "this is the set!", the camera zooms out to show the huge set ready for Paris' music video, with tons of cameras, lighting, and other equipment. Paris walks off into a dressing room and says "I have to get naked now and lay in a bunch of diamonds so you're gonna have to take away the camera for now". Paris comes back out wearing a pink robe and walking into the huge pit of diamonds, she takes off the robe and throws it to the director. A camera shows the director recording Paris as she moves around in the diamonds and holds the dull heart prop. She tells the behind the scenes camera that the heart will look a lot "cooler with special effects".
The camera then fades to day two as Paris records the red beetle/theft scenes. She works with the guy and says "he's not a real thief trust me!" and when she gets arrested she makes sure to reassure the camera that it's not real and that she is not going to jail. The behind the scenes footage then moves to Paris recording the scenes on the red carpet and the scenes by the gold mirror with the wedding dress. The BTS footage then moves back to Paris in the police car as the director says "we got the last shot!", everyone is very excited and Paris says "well, that's a wrap!". The BTS footage continues to follow Paris as she hugs everyone who helped make the video. Paris walks off set into her car and turns the radio on, heartbreaker is playing and Paris laughs "I really didn't think my song would play", she laughs more as she drives off and the BTS special ends. The VH1 Top 20 Countdown ends with the end of the special.

Paris Hilton On The Talk
Paris Hilton appeared on The Talk earlier today to promote her latest single, heartbreaker. Paris has decided to give her single one last big push before heading into the chart. Paris also performed her single on The Talk after the interview.
Interview Highlights:
-Paris you look beautiful! Thank you so much for coming. How do you feel about your music video and the stuff you've been releasing?
Paris: I feel like it really is top quality. I have the best producers, I have the best directors, I have the best costume makers. So I feel like everything I do or release it's all the best quality out there.
-What was it like doing jail time?
Paris: Hah, please.. I was only there for like two hours before my dad bailed me out.
-What do you say to people who call you spoiled?
Paris: I make my own money, there's nothing wrong with spoiling yourself. They need to get off the couch and off the computer, stop hating me cause you're jealous of me.
-Why did you decide to make music?
Paris: Well I love singing.. duh.
-Okay but why do you have to release a song, do all this promotion and publicity. What's the point? Why can't you just keep the song for yourself, you're not all that talented.
Paris: First of all, I am VERY talented. I get all the best people to work on my music and I make sure that my music is perfect and sounds great and that's why people like my songs, ok? I make music and share it with the world because why would I be selfish and keep such high quality songs for my own personal enjoyment?
-Your new music video is receiving a lot of praise, how long did it take to record?
Paris: It took a few days, yeah.. it was a fun shoot.
-How do you feel about new stars like Kim Kardashian taking away your spotlight, do you think you're over.. do you feel threatened?
Paris: Clearly not if my song is #1 on iTunes. I can do different business ventures, things that girls like her can't do. I will always be the first and original doll.
-Well thank you for stopping by, Paris.
Paris: Next time, don't criticize me. Okay? Thanks.. I am talented and my song is good, so buy it on iTunes.
-------
Performance:
Paris performed her single "heartbreaker" on the small circular stage. Smoke surrounded Paris while she sang live into the mic, she was wearing a long beige dress and sang a slowed down, ballad version of heartbreaker with a live band. Paris tried her best to sing the song, she didn't lip sing. She sang the song live and wasn't perfect but it was better than her being a fraud and a liar which she has been all week. Paris took the mic off the stand and walked around the small stage while smoke surrounded her and fire shot out around the stage. At the end of the performance, blood started seeping through the dress and Paris collapsed. Her collapsed body descended underneath the stage while fire shot up around her.

Paris On The X Factor
Paris Hilton appeared on The X Factor tonight to close the show with a performance of "Heartbreaker". Halfway into the show, the judges announced that they had the directors cut of Paris' new video and aired it live for all to see, the director's cut used the Scott Storch remix version of Heartbreaker and featured a new ending scene where Paris gets revenge on all the boys who broke her heart instead of crying into the camera with the text caption ending. After the director's cut was aired, the judges announced that Paris would be closing the show.
Performance:
The performance started with Paris descending down to the stage on pink rope, she was wearing a black tuxedo as she came down onto the stage. She got down onto a broken heart prop which rose up in the air. Paris ripped parts of the tuxedo off, making it a much sexier outfit. She moved her body and laid down on the broken heart while lip synching to "heartbreaker". Men in suits ascended onto the stage as fire shot up all around the stage. Paris jumped off the heart prop and was caught by the guys below.
Paris pushed/kicked the guys away from her as she performed some more dance moves while saying "that's how you handle heartbreakers". A pink truck then drove onto the stage and out came 10 girls in pink leotards with broken heart symbols on them. The girls and Paris did a miniature dance break while water rained down on their bodies. They flipped their wet hair around to the final Junkie XL remixed chorus of "heartbreaker". The girls got in a heart formation and danced for 20 seconds before they split the formation up and the heart looked broken from a camera view at the ceiling. Smoke surrounded the stage as the girls descended under the stage and the X Factor ended.

Paris Hilton On Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Paris Hilton stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to talk about her latest single "Heartbreaker" and upcoming music. Paris told Jimmy that she was working on many songs and has enough to create a full length LP but doesn't know what her plans are yet, she told Jimmy that "Heartbreaker" is definitely a standout track from the ones she's currently creating. She talked about the process of creating the song with Max, Britney, and Dr. Luke she praised all three of them and said that they along with various talented producers and writers are helping her make her new music. Paris talked about her time in jail and complained about Mariah Carey, calling her "obnoxious and fake". Paris also talked about the symbolism behind using a real glowing heart and stabbing it in her latest promotional videos, she said that she was inspired to use a heart after seeing it used frequently on the ABC hit show, Once Upon A Time. Paris talked about her favorite artists and said that she loves Pixie, Rihanna, and Britney. When Jimmy questioned Paris about her talent, Paris said that she can stick her whole fist in her mouth (referencing Mean Girls) and actually stuffed her whole fist into her mouth. Paris talked seriously after, saying that she is learning how to be a better singer and is constantly improving, she also said that her new record will show newfound vocal strength. When asked about her love life, Paris refused to comment and said that it was a private matter. Paris also discussed her plans to make a new store and fragrance, she also talked about just when she will be the head of the Hilton Hotel & Resorts. This episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live ended with a performance by Paris of her new single: heartbreaker.
Performance:
The performance was simplistic, Paris wore a long red dress and sang a slowed down version of "heartbreaker". She sang completely live and there was lot of emotion in her voice. She used a live band instead of a heavily produced instrumental. Smoke surrounded Paris on the stage as she sang, she hit pretty high notes but her voice did crack once. Aside from one minor error, Paris did very well and shocked everyone watching. At the end of the performance a red rope came down and Paris grabbed onto it, it pulled her up and away from the stage as she sang the final lines of heartbreaker. Jimmy told everyone to buy heartbreaker after her performance.

Zedd: Moment of Serenity World Tour – Night 6 (Great Escape)
Zedd continued his worldwide Moment of Serenity Tour at The Great Escape (a Six Flags park) tonight. This concert was held at a temporary venue in a parking lot across from the park, allowing for many fans to watch the concert. As this leg will have varying stage specifications to conform to various venues, there isn’t a specified stage design (it also isn’t completed for the other legs yet). Besides, it probably is best not to have expensive stage equipment sitting outside, exposed to the elements. Anyway, the stage pretty much consists of the stage itself and an HD video screen, as well as the necessary equipment for the concert, such as lighting and speakers.
The concert started at approximately 6 pm local time. The park did not need to close the park as the venue was outside the park; however, the park was pretty much dead after 5:30 pm. 29,600 fans packed into the general admission lawn area. At this concert, standard lawn tickets were $45, 10,000 VIP tickets were $85 (a section closer to the stage), and 20 Super VIP tickets (special area in front of stage + meet and greet) were $150; a total of four others were given away in New York City. Zedd also chooses a random person from the VIP section to join the meet and greet. This concert is the largest yet of the tour; it is sure to bring in a huge amount of revenue to the tour. Concertgoers have all declared the concert amazing, despite an official stage design.
The concept of the concert is that Zedd is a DJ working his way up in the world. He starts out with an introduction that explains the backstory of the concert. After the introduction, Zedd finds himself DJing at a house party. He does a couple of tracks for them and then he leaves. There is an interlude of Conduit prior to him arriving at his next gig: a rave. He plays the Gaga-inspired track “Slay,” and then Lady Gaga herself makes a surprise appearance to sing “Temple,” “Stache,” and “Aura.” Zedd then realizes he needs to break free of this monotone life of DJing. He runs off the stage, leaving in the middle of “Shave It Up.” He returns when the song finishes and begins to break free of his monotone life of being a small-time DJ to make his move into what he was longing for, the EDM industry as a whole. Of course, during part of this he plays “Break Free.” He ends up finding success and no longer has a single problem in his life.
During the concert, every song from Serenity was performed. The concert started out with “Beautiful Sky,” which transitioned smoothly into “G.U.Y.” The rest of the concert incorporated all of the songs of Serenity, some of Clarity, and two Zedd songs from ARTPOP. As the concert ended, Zedd made a short speech: “As you all may already know, my friend Marina and the Diamonds is currently in a medically-induced coma. I was actually in the car next to her, so I had to watch the whole thing. It was terrible. Luckily she is still alive, but who knows for how long. We were supposed to tour together, but she cancelled the tour due to low album sales. No one expected this to happen. In honor of her, I will play a few of her songs. Starting tomorrow, I will be with her in the hospital, and the rest of the dates will be on their original dates.” Zedd then played “Primadonna,” “Happy Meal,” “Where The Diamonds Grow,” and “Myths.” After “Myths” ended, roaring applause and a 3-minute standing ovation came from the audience. People then left to buy Serenity and “Temple” at shops and booths nearby the venue.

So yeah, Zedd was in the hospital with Marina from Wednesday on. No promo. He will continue promo next week, as it's what she would want.
Sending in my (very short) promo list. Maybe I'll scrape top 5 with Temple since everyone quit
