I do agree in that if she was to release something like HML or Scheisse it could cater to what the GP are looking for from Gaga, in regards to how Anthagio describes it. They are very experimental and could do well if radio were to support them like they did with Bad Romance. He has a great point.

Btw, when is Anthagio getting unbanned? I miss him.

The problem with Scheisse is that, as catchy as it is, still sounds like typical Gaga. As much as people claim to want 'the old Gaga' back, they sure as hell didn't want Judas or Marry the Night - typical Gaga sounding tracks. Maybe if Scheisse was about something else, but as it stands...I don't know anymore. It sounds like a sure fire hit IMO. It deserves to be up with at least Bad Romance.....but....at this point no. She released it too late.

Heavy Metal Lover is friendlier to the average listener. For one it is more modern. Secondly, it isn't about anything. That's what people want. I'm not sure how radio would take to it, but HML is highly likable. It's a party song in vein of Poker Face.

But I don't see any smashes left on this album anyway. Guess it is a free for all. Gaga might as well release The Queen and call it a day.

Judas is way more industrial (and religious) than anything she's ever put out, and Marry the Night is much more rock influenced. Just because it has the stutter doesn't mean it's a classic Gaga dance track.

Listen to MTN and then Paparazzi/Poker Face etc, and they're nothing alike sound wise.

the reason the singles have not been AS successful as say TF or TFM
Is simply because the songs off of this album are just not radio friendly

It's dance music with a heavy break down including lyrics like 'Then I'll down to the bar' and 'M-M-M-Marry.' Gaga herself even deemed it to be classic Gaga.

And Judas is like Bad Romance/Paparazzi/Poker Face. You can mash all 4 together perfectly. The lyrical content is obviously different, but it is still typical Gaga. Had the lyrics been different I do think people would have bought more into the song(s).

and alot of my friends told me when i played it for them was that while it was catchy , the chorus was''predictable'' for gaga and they thought it was a boring chorus
it was kinda radio friendly but it did have a rock edge to it

Judas while it has the catchy hook of BR was super industrial and too ''strange'' for mainstream
it would of charted better without the religious lyrics in the song , America is honestly too sensitive

The only songs i think off BTW that are radio friendly is TEOG and BTW . I Was so Happily shocked that Y&I Did pretty well

Scheisse I think would be one of those remembered tracks as it is so unique and such.. It needs to be released as a single.. I think I'm just going to promote it as the next single anyways.. Just so that Lexington starts playing it and then automatically gets added as the sixth single.. My plan will not fail.. MUAHAHAHAH,

Yeah, I do think the lyrical content might have thrown people off for both songs. But I think they flopped because the people didn't care. I'm sure most would think Adele's entire album was unfriendly with radio, but the people are here for it.

Your last point is exactly what I meant though. Born, The Edge, and You and I sound nothing like Gaga's past singles. That is why I think something entirely different could do well. Mah-mah-mah marry sounds like m-m-m-muh and rah mah mah ah ah ah. Why something like Hair would probably smash harder than Scheisse ( )
