It's a mix of both IMO. The US has always been more embracing of Urban songs/albums... Not to mention this is the first album Rih launched without a single preceding it months in advance. (Work & Anti came out days apart)
Europe& Australia will adjust to Rih going forward. This was her sacrificial era if you will...some fans will part ways with her, others will take up a new interest in her.
