Although I don't think she would it's not uncommon for artists to lip-sync at big events like that.

I don't think there's any cricumstance in which Mariah would turn down a Super Bowl slot. She's never been on that stage and the guaranteed amount of attention on her would be too enticing. Yes, I agree that they would have to carefully work on arrangements. However i think it would be very beautiful for a multitude of reasons.

I don't picture Rih dancing for the majority of a SB performance (obviously) so pairing her with a songbird like Mariah just seems perfect to me. They would have to have amazing visuals but it would be worth it imo.

She should do more Consideration/Woo/SoM/KIB/James Joint songs and less Work/Needed Me/Yeah I Said It (as much as I love those songs). Makes for a better progression while still being very Rihanna esque. I would love for her to do modern Rihanna funk/disco/trip hop etc. She can still do fast pace and slow pace with them too. Wouldn't mind her dabbling with good/interesting features. It would be cool to see her kinda doing an updated Outkast/Andre 3000 kinda sound. I could also see her doing well with a modern "old school - Mary J Blige" sound. I was listening to Mary's earlier discog and I felt like Rihanna could pull off that vibe (well..I feel like she could pull of a 80's/90s sound in general). Smarter features as well ( I love SZA's). Wish she would experiment with more live instruments for her instrumental as well.

What she really needs to do is get a new team. Could you imagine what Rihanna could pull with a team of people who were competent and SMART?

I feel like some of the things that haven't gone so smoothly during this era is b/c she didn't have a good team helping her out.

I feel like she needs a new creative director (idk who that is rn..Ciarra?). Especially when it comes to execution. She's creative but I feel like should use more support in that area as far as bringing music/tours/imagery etc to the next level esp considering who tf she is. She's Rihanna ffs. I feel like that's gonna be more important than ever as she shifts her musical directions.


But I mean..she loves her girls so. But maybe R9 will show a bit of a more tight ship since this was her first era "on her own".

Ultimately it's still all Rihanna. If RIHANNA wanted a better team she'd get one. If she wasn't satisfied with how things are going behind the scenes she'd fix it. The song was originally for his band, but Rih heard the song and connected with it, so I guess he made a deal with her to give her the song, but in one condition, let him be a feature on the record. You know him, his main job is to ruin people's songs.

i know she is very loyal but adding new blood to the group could help. everyone on her team is very comfortable with each other.
