Yep and before the plot and the second part of the season will focus on Kai as this season's main antagonist,
they need to yet again save Bonnie "oh my god, she's alive?!" Bennet, that's why her story now seems like a filler.
And lmao after the last ep they basically proved she's useless to the plot, since Kai can get out of the
prison on his own.
