Correct. However, certifications are based on how many albums were shipped (or close to shipped) to the United States. Hollywood Records stopped production on Metamorphosis and Hilary Duff physical albums AGES ago.
The only reason Avery and I are still pressed about those albums not being certified is that they were released before Digital albums became a big thing. So 99.9% of the albums sold are physical and there is/was more out there.

Hey I'm just glad Santa Claus Lane got a gold certification. The only album that isn't even close and will never be close is 'The Best of Hilary Duff.' I try not to count that as part of her discography.

In a month and a half, it will be a decade since Santa Claus Lane began production. All kinds of milestones are coming up. Hilary recorded I Can't Wait a decade ago in May.
