Will.I.Am isn't experienced in TV and was completely unprofessionally when it came to handling her career, he let his personal feelings take over, and although I am fine she isn't on X Factor now I still would have loved to have seen her judge the American version.

I can believe ITV weren't enthusiastic to be honest, Simon and Cheryl both left and ruined the panel, so ITV then got together a new line up which was then thrown out the window and delays were made to see if Cheryl would return or not, plus the fact they were going to have to pay her £4Million to return out of the budget.

The author claims it was Simon who has been wanting her back, not particulary ITV. There is no way ITV would want to pay a judge £4million when they have already managed to get a good panel together, Gary Barlow is huge and Kelly Rowland was quite big aswell, they turned out to be useless but that isn't the point. lol

I am not saying ITV wouldn't have liked to have her, but I can't see them wanting her for the price she wanted, that was Simon making that happen. And obviously they would want her as a guest to fill in for Kelly, she is a rating winner and having her as a guest wouldn't have cost them much.

No he didn't, he said ITV weren't enthusiatic about having her back, someone posted a summary of what the book said on Digital Spy and I copied and pasted it in here, check my comments a few back for the summary and in the third paragraph it states they weren't enthusiastic about it.

And this writer is pretty reliable, he followed Simon for months and spoke to Simon about alot, he was there during the X Factor USA auditions, so has a better idea of what went on than we do.

Idk itv was always keen to have Cheryl, they knew cheryl was the big star of the show and kept the show in the headlines. As for the US it wasn't meant to be. It was a blessing indisguise tbh. Look at her now, and look at how bad the show did.
