So this is getting a weird release strategy. It is being released June 7th to buy and stream, but its impact day for radio is June 29th.
So the song won't start getting playlisted for a couple of weeks most likely, so no need to panic if radio doesn't pick up immediately.
She has a second radio tour planned June 1st - June 6th, and will visit Radio 1 again on Nick Grimshaw's show, great promo.
She has the palladium performance the day of release, which will boost the song up itunes and hopefully radio will start spinning it and help maintain it.
She also has John Bishop's variety show at some point, again another boost for the song, and Graham Norton we believe, plus more. So this could work well and help it have a longer chart life, but its key radio get on board in a couple of weeks time.
out of the top 100 on UK itunes. that's kinda sad. it's a good song.
Well it is only the pre-order, it has done well. Most pre-orders hang around the top 300, gradually rising back up the charts the closer to the release date due to its increased airplay, I am sure Leona will do the same.
