yes we still need an MV for this and no this era did not need to get ruined with a re release.
she should keep any new material for a soundtrack to some film or for her next album.
Re releases just cut the anticipation between real albums and they seem cheap tbh...artists usually do them when they feel like they need to boost the original album's sales or when they are too scared to finally transition into the next era.
