looks like my BF and I are about to purchase our first piece of real estate!!! We've always rented...but we're about to buy a condo!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAH scary and exciting all at once!!!
I feel like I'm ready for that adult step...I'm going to be 21 in may and I can't help but feel I'll be more liberated once that time comes. I mean age ain't nothing but a number but in the states they treat it like it's everything
So I finished reading The Hunger Games, now I'm midway through Catching Fire. It's great so far.

Not sure if I've mentioned this yet, but I teach/choreograph dance on weekends...had a dance competition this weekend and my dance students just scored the highest score of the entire competition! Huge trophy too! woooooo!

I'm now official with the guy I've been dating! Very happy to say he's my boyfriend. I met two of his friends today and things couldn't be better!
And I just started applying to jobs for my year off and I got a call back within a week for one! I'm interviewing tomorrow

And lol, are we all reading the books now to? cause I am done with catching fire soon aswell, and than it's off the mockingjay .... Should we start a book club?
My family keeps pushing me to take driving lessons so I can get a license, but I refuse to. Ain't no way in hell I'm gonna be sharing the road with wreckless, psychotic drivers . Being a pedestrian is already risky enough where I live. Besides, it's not like I'll be able to afford a car anytime soon (even a used one), so what's the rush? I feel independent enough using public transportation to go everywhere I need to. I'm cool with never learning how to drive.
Driving was one of my biggest fears. I didn't want to learn how to drive because I didn't want to crash into anything or get into a car accident. I still fear that because I live in place where people do not know how to drive. Every week I see a car accident.
and people texting and updating their Facebook statuses while they drive, makes driving worse.

Catching Fire is already miles better then the first book. I love the idea of the clock-like arena. I'm almost finished.

I know.. the clock arena is sooo good, miles better than the first arena for sure which was just plain. The end is a cluster**** though, it took all my concentration to get what was going on. keep going

Agreed! But it's also making me read instead of spending more time with my bf... I think he is kinda getting annoyed now that I am reading more than giving him attention
Are there any other sports fans in here? I live for hockey, and it's almost playoff time. My hometown Flames aren't making the playoffs again, but my team the LA Kings are looking good for the division title.
