Uhmm don't you know geography? If it hits GA it would have already on Saturday since you are 1-2 days / 4 large states away by Sandy's landfall in NJ.

If you live in GA shouldn't you have lived through at least half a dozen storms every year. I'd be worried for next year

Winds are now 85mph sustained (up from 75mph).
The pressure has decreased to 946 mb (down from 950mb). Tied the record for the region.

New predictions from the NWS say that Sandy will continue to strengthen to 90mph or possibility higher until landfall later Monday evening. There are also new numbers showing that there is a 50% chance that the subway system will be flooded causing BILLIONS in additional damage. This did not happen with Irene.
