She'd be a great Johanna, i think. I like the fact they literally cast unkowns in the main parts, and i truly hope this pushes them into superstardom. I can see many great oppurtunites for some of the actors/actresses

I honestly don't know if she can pull it off. I've seen her act and she doesn't seem Johanna to me at all.
Johanna is a very complex and tough character. I'd like to see her try and then I'll give my opinion. But I don't know.

I also don't really like the fact that she's shoving the idea down everyone's throats. If she's right for the role, she'll get it. Elizabeth Banks knew she wanted Effie from the moment she heard there was a movie, but she didn't shout about it all the time. She just went for it and got it.
I just feel this will give her an unfair advantage and people might consider her right for the role just because of her passion for the books.

i don't really see Kristen Bell as Johanna. I love her but I too see Johanna as a tough, dark, rebellious & outgoing character that im not sure she can embody. Her voice when she talks is very light and like pitchy too which is not how i really envisioned Johanna.

Why is it so hard for people to appreciate a movie for what it is?

I know and read ALL of The Hunger Games, and this was beyond expectations. If you want what you saw in your head hopefully the DVD will have a Director's Cut. Rue, Thresh? That's your own problems.

Jennifer Lawrence was an amazing Katniss. Seeing her in person in interviews should give you some idea of her amazing ability to analyze character, script, and go there. She acted, she's Oscar nominated, she's got pure skill and talent at an age wannabes wish they had but are stuck in 2nd rate acting schools. She's got it. She personified Katniss. I'll defend Gary Ross' choice to cast her.

Use your brain and really figure out how such a story would play out on the screen. This film is better than good. It's a new franchise.

Well aside from Kristen, I believe Naya Rivera has also tweeted her intentions of wanting to be Johanna and I won't be surprised if other actresses follow suit

Saw the movie yesterday when it premiered here. It was pretty much perfect although i hated that they didn't show many things but i was expecthing that so it was kay.

Jennifer Lawrene IS the perfect Katniss. Elizabeth Banks was increible as Effie<3

Saw it for the second time in the theater yesterday. Rue's scene always gets to me How ****ing genius is the fight between Clove and Katniss. Clove is just epic, ****ing amazing! I love the scene with the countdown for the games. UGH! Everything just gives me goosebumps!

This movie was AMAZING. It's like the perfect blend of everything you'd want in a movie. Definitely on par with the book.

Yes, he died. But in the book, it didn't really say how he died, all we know is that Snow had him killed.
