My 2nd album, "Electra Heart", is coming out in 6 weeks, 6 days. It is absolutely not like I tick the days as they go by or anything! I am an extremely busy woman.

The 'Standard' edition is kind of like a purist's version of the concept. The 'Deluxe' version is for tracks that did not fully adhere to the sound or vision but that I really loved anyway. "Radioactive", "Sex Yeah", "Lonely Hearts Club" and "Buy the Stars" + the videos for "Radioactive" and "Primadonna".
Then... there is the Limited Edition box set that comes in a "Clamshell Box" (I like that name) with a variety of goodies. It is quite female at the mo (Primadonna pocket mirror ALERT) but I am working on a male version! Full details below...

There will be other songs/ instrumentals that are not on any physical product but are part of the project e.g. ♡ Part 3 "The Archetypes" ♡ and other such hits. I like making songs up along the way for whatever I need them for so there will be a ♡ Part 5: "Su-Barbie-A" ♡ pretty soon, after ♡ Part 4: "Primadonna" ♡.
"Primadonna" has just had it's 1st airing on Radio 1 and now the video is gonna premiere right in front of your internet-fried eyeballs. If you wanna hear it, just move your lil hand, then, put it ON your mouse. Next, move the mouse until the cursor finally rests on the below link. Now, click.

This album is going to seriously explode on the music scene.
Dr. Luke, Cirkut and Diplo all co-produced the first single which *****.
She's also working with Greg Kurstin (Kelly's Stronger, Ke$ha's Animal, Britney's Rock Me In).
Also confirmed are Guy Sigsworth (Madonna's What It Feels Like For A Girl).
And Swedish House Mafia, one of the biggest dance groups around right now.
I can't believe Marina's jump. I've never been into her much but I am SO here for her this time around.
This may be one of the best albums this year.

I can't wait until we start getting snippets. If the rest of the album is taking on the electronic sound, too, this is going to be flawless. I've already booked Electra Heart in for the #1 album of the year on my End of/Best of 2012 countdown.  I really don't see anyone else having a better album, and Marina has such a flawless track record with her material. I really doubt this album will be a disappointment.

This album pretty much is confirmed to be electronic (we basically have half of the standard + 2 bonus tracks).
I'm really excited for Power & Control. It could make a great single and I hope she rerecords the vocals.

Despite the pop GOLD this bitch has been serving, Fear and Loathing is still my most anticipated track.
I love the fact that she has this beautiful, melancholy song among these shiny, dance songs. It adds so much more context to the record and Elecrta Heart concept.

I hope there are like two other melancholy tracks so that Fear and Loathing isn't the odd one out. I don't understand why it's at the end of the album, though, tbh. It sounds like a nice opener for the EH concept.
