One song from Robin Schulz left (or more like one remix left)
Example
"One More Day (Stay With Me)"
Album: Live Life Living
Watch The Video Here
Why?: It breaks my heart, it really breaks my heart the fact that this song is not #1, let alone top 10 Example sounds better than ever, the production is amazing! probably his best one since "Playing In The Shadows" and I love the fact that Example raps again! So.... what's the problem? THE **** MUSIC VIDEO! So, so, sooo bad! I can't believe Example shot a mediocre music video for one of his best songs ever, that really broke my heart That's why "One More Day" just missed top 10... but don't worry about Example, he still has one entry left (of course inside Top 10)
The Neighbourhood
"Sweater Weather"
Album: I Love You
Watch The Video Here
Why?: And Top 10 starts with one of my favorite bands of 2013... first of all I know this is so 2013 but in my defense this was a hit in the US earlier this year One of my favorite songs of late 2013 - early 2014! Is just... incredible! I love everything about this song! It was #1 for 3 weeks on my weekly countdown and because of that this song really deserves a place in the top 10 this year!
Hozier
"Take Me To Church"
Album: Hozier
Watch The Video Here
Why?: First of all... I really want to thank Pinkoverblue! You introduced me to this song way before it was a hit I've been listening to this song for months... but for some strange reason I got obsessed like in October! I just love this song. Hozier is really talented! The music video is amazing too! That story... so sad This is the proof that you don't need a big budget to create something amazing! I'm so glad this song is smashing right now
Sia
"Chandelier"
Album: 1000 Forms Of Fear
Watch The Video Here
Why?: I must confess something... I HATED this song at first But 2 months later it really grew on me, after I paid attention to the music video Sia showed me with this song that she's a talented girl! And this is probably one of my favorite music videos of the year... Maddie (I think that's her name? ) is an incredible dancer too and I think she also contributed to the success of the song! So young and so talented Of course this is one of my favorite songs of 2014! One of my most played tracks... and my favorite song to sing along to! (but when there is absolutely no one around because I'm the worst singer of all time )
Lorde
"Team"
Album: Pure Heroine
Watch The Video Here
Why?: "Royals" was my #3 song of last year.. and this year the LORDe is back again! Another song on my top 10! Lorde's definitely my favorite female singer right now I must admit that I don't like the music video... but the song doesn't need a good one, is amazing on its own way. That amazing chorus is everything! One of my favorite songs of 2014 and of course it deserves a place on here!
Duke Dumont
"I Got U (feat. Jax Jones)"
Album: N/A
Watch The Video Here
Why?: Final entry for Duke Dumont! Again... I wasn't a big fan of this song at first (WTF with my life? ) but after 2-3 plays... I was the biggest fan of this song! This is the song of the summer for me! That production, simple but great lyrics and amazing vocals, this is like the perfect electronic song for me! It really breaks my heart this song isn't top 5 And THIS IS MY FAVORITE MUSIC VIDEO OF 2014! I just want that guy's life (when he's using the case... or whatever that thing is ).
Example
"10 Million People"
Album: Live Life Living
Watch The Video Here
Why?: For the first time ever (since 2010, when I created my first Best Of) Example is out of the top 3! And is not like this song is bad or his worst work... this is #5 only because 2014 was full of incredible music If this were released in 2013 it would have been easily my #1... said that (because I don't want you to believe Example disappointed me this year ) here is "10 Million People"! This deep-house song from Example is fantastic! very different from his previous work.. but in a good way! My favorite song from his latest album and probably my favorite Example song since 2011 when he released that epic "Playing In The Shadows" album. The music video is good but not his best and maybe that's the reason why this song lost some points at the end and is now No. 5. 2015 is going to be a sad year in music because Example is now a dad and I feel like, for the first time ever, he's not going to release anything but well, this song is still strong on my weekly countdown and, at least, this will appear on my Best Of 2015 list again
Tove Lo
"Habits (Stay High) (Hippie Sabotage Remix)"
Album: Queen Of The Clouds
Watch The Video Here
Why?: Queen Tove Lo makes her last appearance this year! Thanks to this flawless remix I got into her music and I discovered the original song! There was a time when I loved the original & the remix equally... but right now I think the remix aged better and that's the reason why this flawless remix is my favorite version now! "Habits" is an incredible song with amazing (and sad) lyrics. The remix adds a touch of... I don't know, nostalgia maybe? and that makes this song even better. I swear I still love this remix like is the first time I hear it! The music video is just incredible. Thank you Tove Lo for this amazing year with your incredible music and congrats because "Habits" is now officially MY FAVORITE FEMALE SINGLE OF 2014
Route 94
"My Love (feat. Jess Glynne)"
Album: N/A
Watch The Video Here
Why?: There is no doubt Deep-house is my favorite musical genre ever This song is... INCREDIBLE! AMAZING! FANTASTIC! and any positive adjective that comes to your mind! That amazing production is everything! I know is a little bit repetitive... but this is not a pop song so this is the point I must confess I wasn't impressed with this song at first... it was nice and everything, but that's it. After 2 months I was obsessed! and I still am. This is my most played song of 2014 on my iPod and that's insane, even more played that my #1 and #2 songs I still love this song so much! This song really deserves #1... but there are 2 songs that I loved even more! By the way... I really want a new Route 94 single! "My Love" was released almost one year ago and we still don't have a new single, can't believe that
Lilly Wood & The Prick
"Prayer In C (Robin Schulz Remix)"
Album: Prayer

Why?: I know some of you though this was my #1 song of the year and the flawless song really deserves that title! Like I said many times this was Robin Schulz's year! What an incredible producer he is. Love that unique sound that makes all his music original and great, not the typical electronic song. I must admit that I don't like the original song (too slow for me! ) but the lyrics are beautiful The music video is not my favorite of 2014 or anything, but I think is good! This song really relaxes me, and I love that! #1 for 5 weeks on my weekly countdown, one of the best runs ever, my current ringtone... of course this song is my 2nd favorite of 2014! Robin... you're my new favorite Dj right now! Please don't start making **** music like Avicii or Calvin Harris I have a lot of faith on you and I know you will continue releasing incredible music in 2015 (unlike my #1... )
AND THE BEST SONG OF 2014 IS...
Calvin Harris
"Summer"
Album: Motion

Why?: Ugh.... I promised myself that I would stop being a Calvin Harris fan in 2014... all the disappointments, his new attitude (WFT? Now he's making photo shoots naked & in underwear? Where the **** is CALVIN HARRIS!!? The real Calvin Harris was focused on his music, not a lot of nonsense ) but... then he released the flawless "Summer" This is the Calvin Harris that I like! the one who can make an incredible song with catchy lyrics and good production on his own! without the flop help of any other artist... Now I need him to release "Faith" as the next single from "Motion" because the rest of that album is pure ****. "Summer" was my summer anthem! Love every part of that song. The only negative thing is the music video! Is horrible I want a real music video with a good story... or at least a music video with a special theme like the "I'm Not Alone" music video now he releases the same music video over and over again... but well, the song is flawless and, in spite of the music video, it takes my #1 this year! Wanna know an interesting fact? This is Calvin Harris' 3rd year that he takes the crown I can't believe that! He's definitely my favorite artist of all time... but please Calvin, please focus on your music again and give me a new "Ready For The Weekend" My most played song of the year (almost 1,600 plays!), 27 weeks on my weekly countdown and #1 for 6 weeks... of course "Summer" is my fave song of 2014!

And with this recap my Best Of 2014 is finally done!
Thank you so much guys for your support another year, you're the best!
I'll do my best this year and try to open my "Best Of 2015" thread in December! This year is going to be awesome but at the same time difficult, I just started my practices in the hospital and every 3 days we have guards of 32 hours (sleepless) so I don't really have time for ATRL anymore... at least this year but I really love music and I'll try to continue my weekly countdown and of course my Best Of 2015.
Yas Summer #1 Even tho I like him when he's shirtless and doing sexy photoshoots. I do think you're kind of expecting too much from him these days. But yas tha song is a major bop, as is the whole album.
As I said before, great Best Of See you in December
Hozier is amazing and his album is full of greatness, George's vocie is damn strong and good and like his folk songs, Tove Lo is the Queen of the Clouds and my heart and Robin is a good producer and can't wait to hear more from him. Too bad for Calvin and Avicii tho.
I always your Best of and this is no exception, Good luck on your practices. Hope you do well. Don't worry about ATRL tho. Focus on what you need to do. Still, good that you're here. See you around.
