For the price of a mac you can just buy 4 PC's... each with better specs... and just throw each one away the moment it starts having issues and replace it with a new one.

I like the interface of the Mac OS but almost everything else about Windows is superior.

I've grown so accustomed to my the amazing trackpad my MacBook Pro has though that I'm not sure I'll ever be able to switch back to Windows.

Once you go Mac, you never go back.

I'm about to get a new computer with Windows 8 (not sure what brand yet, I keep flip-flopping through options) but yeah, I wasn't too impressed with Windows 8, either. I haven't actually tried it out but I saw some videos and tours and I didn't care for the whole app thing. But luckily Windows 8.1 makes it so you have the Start panel so I'd just keep myself over there and barely ever touch the apps part of it. It seems cool and all but just not necessary for me.

I don't do drugs and i was a Windows user since Win98 up until Windows 8.

I have a Windows 7 PC and a Windows 8 PC... while my university had macs.

I can say with great confidence that Windows 7 feels closer to a Mac then it does to Windows 8.
