Why aren't people supporting Countdown? It really is one of the best singles of 2011.
They're buying Sexy and I Know It instead. I just can't....

Sony has ****ed up this era before it even started.Let's see:
*leaking 1st single demo months before release
*allowing radio to play demo for weeks confusing fooling people it's real version
* wrong 1st single choice *should have been "End Of Time",I love RTW but...
*releasing ballad as 2nd single in summer months,should have been Countdown/End Of Time
*wrong promotion/ management of many other things
* BIGGEST MISTAKE -> since US radio is loving ballads right now (I don't have to mention Europe) and they have beautiful ballad to release,perfect for fall and holidays (I WAS HERE) but NO,they decide to choose Countdown/LOT, I'll never ever forgive this to them.
I've never been a drama queen (I mostly laugh at them) but I'll be one right now.I don't care anymore.I want my DVD and that's it.Look what they did to her best album.They can go to hell right now.I tried my best,I was spamming them all day long on twitter but what's the point?If a fan have to tell you what to do,what's the best for era,then what kind of management you are?KARMA IS A BITCH.

And yes,radio supporting Sexy and I Know It,the biggest joke of song,a trash, is enough proof that something is wrong with music industry.You have Tik Tok,California Gurls,they're all generic but this LMFAO stuff is just disgusting trash.Whole another level.

 It didn't flop. It did good for a non-single song.
To everyone in here who is worrying about Countdown, STOP! A video can only do so much. It carried the song out of the 200's on iTunes so that's great. Radio has YET to pick up on it but they will. BTINH fell on iTunes too and then it climbed into Top 20 because of radio play. Just wait....

Love On Top debuted at #20 on the Hot 100 when it wasn't even an official single and it wasn't even sent to radios. I don't think that's a flop at all since Beyoncé never debuts high with her songs.

It's funny that you all blame Sony for this. But Beyoncé chose all those singles, I'm so certain about it. I bet that her label didn't want her to release Run The World (Girls) as a first single because it was too risky but she wanted it and because she's her own manager, she decides which single will be chosen. But we can blame them for not preventing RTW to leak or letting radio play the demo version. She should've chosen End Of Time or Countdown as first single. It would've done much better than RTW.

I agree that this is Bey's best album and it's managed horribly 
I'm not writing off its commercial performance yet though, there's still hope. If things do pick up though, it'll be because radio and the public would FINALLY have come to their senses. No credit can be given to her team/label.

The only person to blame is Beyonce.Sony is a label not a management corporation.She fired her manager and made alot bad decisions about the promotion (perfoming 1+1 instead of RTW at the AI,performing LOT instead of the next single,letting weeks between perf and video release...).
