They have a huge acting department and produce a lot of TV shows. CNBLUE does make a lot but FT ISLAND made most of that money in Japan though.

Let's not do too much on U-GOT7 now. They may not have any hit songs yet but they sold like 190,000 albums total in Korea last year which is really respectable for a rookie group at a fading company.

The only thing that would stop iKON vs Monsta X this year will be timing. They probably won't promote alongside each other but as far as competition/comparisons go they're both certain to be straight-up hip-hop groups, unlike WINNER vs GOT7 who turned out to be different style groups altogether.

SM is doing very well for ship that is sinking faster than T-Ara, based on their numbers.
JYP on the other hand is Hit & Miss (like literally), it's like the company doesn't know how to manage more than 3 groups at the same time.

Like what is doing with GOT7, on paper this group is like one of the best but in action they don't serve the best music and performance they can do. Which is tragic. I remember wanting them to debut so much, then I completely erased them from my Stan worthy group.

You really shouldn't be juggling more than three groups at a time tbh. Doing more than one at a time is a logistical nightmare what with finding a single, writing the songs, booking studio time, paying for studio time, choreography, slotting promotion, shooting the video, paying for said video, distributing the single, arriving at promotion, possible touring, and paying for food/transportation/fees. It's a miracle if any company can manage to promote two acts within the same time period to a minor degree of success.
