The scores are so biased. Sims stans are so annoying because once they see 1 thing they don't like they permanently dislike the project as a whole and refuse to change their minds.

Been playing for the better half of the night and this game is alright. Not many improvements to be honest, and the sliders are cool though. The left out plenty of stuff from previous entries which i'm sure will be paid dlc down the road. Do not buy this game now, wait for a flash sale in the coming weeks.
If it's alright, why would you rate it a 2?

I just payed $70 for an incomplete game. It's an absolute steaming turd. What in the world prevents a Sim form being able to use their Cell Phone to dial the Fire Department?
I don't recommend this game until they get at least 1 expansion. It is no where near as good as Sims 3.
Bitch are you really giving it a 1 because you can't call a Fire Department?
So annoying. & I bet atleast half of those reviews are from people who've yet to actually play, and are just protesting. They really need to get out this mindset of crying over stuff from 2004 being removed.

nnn I don't think they were giving a 1 cause of that

@ them calling the game incomplete.
EA clearly thought it was complete for a BASE game.
I don't understand what these sim fans don't get. Sims 3 was boring up until Ambitions or arguably Generations

!!!
If you go back and only install The Sims 3 Base Game are you really gonna be completely overly satisfied with those 5 pieces of clothing, and half the abilities gone?
They really don't realize EA can add features with EP's.
& I'm almost sure had they included 100% the same **** they still would've been fuming saying "Wow, 5 whole years, and this is an exact copy! I didn't spend $70 to have the same stuff all over again with different graphics".
I think the game is worth it. Yeah, it's expensive, but at the end of the day, it's still The Sims and there will be many new things to look forward to over the next few months and years. And the game is a lot of fun as is.
I wish they would release a Sims game that has several expansion packs worth of content. I would have paid $70-$80 if it included some of the features from Generations, Pets and Ambitions in the base game. I think they should go in that direction for the next game if they plan on selling it for so much money and winning back some of their lost fanbase.
Eh. I'll wait until it develops further. I think if I'm paying nearly a hundred dollars for any game, it needs to be worth a 10/10. I'll probably get it when those expansion packs start dropping.
It's not even arguable. They were making TS4 an online game, then scrapped it when they got bad feedback and had to make TS4 in the remaining time.
I believe that but I want some sorta concrete proof (like a formal statement because these reviews are gonna lose some sales). I definitely believe that that is the case.
