It's not all about getting hits and sales you know, for some artists it's about that but I think the most important part is making music you love and feel passionate about. And I think Demi feels the same way.

Yeah. Although it's still important to her.

I'm sure she wants quality in the first place, but i'm also sure that she likes the success and she wants her albums and singles to do really well.

You can tell by her reactions on GYHAB going #1 on pop, but also the way she talks about it in those interviews.

TBH I think she's just hoping for this to happen and it's a goal for her, but i don't think she's expecting it

She will have a hard time smashing with those kind of songs unless they're catchy as hell.

It's not the best career move that she's doing. I don't think we can expect huge radio support for this, since it'll probably be a huge turn from GYHAB.
She might have to re-build the radio support again.

yeah but GYHAB uses electro influences.
You could just as well do it with real instruments though but i'm not sure how that'd turn out.

Anyway i just hope the single will go top 20 on Pop radio and do better on HAC and AC, but we'll see, we haven't even heard it so

How is that cocky? It's not like she's saying she's gonna set a trend. She's saying there are already some artists who have and she's gonna follow suit

I think some are taking what she says too literally. 'Real instruments' doesn't automatically mean indie uncommercial music.. A song can be upbeat and catchy with real instruments and still do well it's not unheard of

Yeah pretty much. It still depends on the song though. I just wonder if she'll still have an advantage of the #1 with GYHAB. I mean she's surely not a nobody to pop radio thanks to that.

For example i think Z100 will support the song (if it's good).

Well there aren't THAT many examples of these kind of songs on radio. *in the US*

If you look at the top 10 on pop that'd be One More Night, eventually We Are Never..., Some Nights and Everybody Talks.


It's a different thing WW though tbh, over here there are a lot of non-electro songs on radio.

I've just been reading what she said and if you think about it, she can still have electro influences in it, like the beat or something.

Don't pay much attention to that lady's articles. It isn't a reliable site, she hates X Factor and usually steals spoilers from this website http://idolforums.com/index.php?showtopic=681338 and claims them as her own. If the show doesn't get another season I won't mind really. It already gave Demi tons of exposure.
