My First Kiss peaked at #9 in the US, it was a hit. And TTWE peaked at #8 before the Kesha remix, which sent it to #3. Either way, Kesha wrote the song, it's her hit too. And Right Round was credited WW and for 1 week in the US.

This may be true but it's literally irrelevant. Dated or not, the songs were still massive hits. That doesn't wash away once the song becomes dated.
