Lies!
She was definitely recognized as an A-list musician from 2000-2004, and then again from 2008-2009.

I don't mind if you divert to whatever you want.
Just don't do it because you can't admit you're wrong.

Best songs on PRISM: Double Rainbow, Spiritual, It Takes Two, Love Me, Choose Your Battles
Best song on 1989: I Wish You Would because it isn't witchcraft nor evil. Hitlor Swift is of satan and we should not be promoting her.

Lol aww. She was never recognized as a Z-list musician, let alone an A-list musician, because she's never been recognized as a musician.

Nobody's disputing the fact Whitney's above Britney. Their first two eras just happen to be comparable sales wise.

I can admit I'm wrong but I wasn't aware we were talking celebrity-wise.
Just whatever! I don't see Katy as being significantly bigger than Nicki Minaj. I just don't.
I guess if the receipts don't lie it is what it is

I'm mad ATRL always lead me to believing 4 era wasn't all that when I joined.
The looks, the music, the videos, everything was 10/10. The sales were even great in heinsight. The Hot 100 was so deceiving.
Take Care was amazing too. I'm mad I paid it so much dust.

This isn't "a few weeks." And A-List isn't limited to musical recognition, if it was, then tons of female artists who have a lot of acclaim would be considered A-List, but their commercial success (or lack thereof) & poor/small brand hinder them from that. Most of Britney's albums have been well-received (bar Britney Jean) and she's won enough awards to garner sufficient musical recognition for A-List status (Grammy, AMA, BBMA, VMA, EMA seem like the most relevant ones). And I know she doesn't have a boat load of GRAMMYs (assuming this is the barometer for recognition as a respected musical act) but there'll always be the moniker "Grammy-winning artist" next to her name no matter what. And every star has been relegated to tabloid fodder at some point, Britney's no exception, but that was a thing in 2007.

I had no clue 4 was considered a disappointment until I joined here. Love On Top was everywhere.

I never said Britney was one of the people who struggled for more than a few weeks, you moron.
The best reviews Britney has ever recieved basically amount to "Shockingly, it's passable to listen to despite her utter lack of talent and artistry and its content being completely shallow."

The reason Beyonce's songs all have such bad peaks/runs is because her singles are handled horrifically
But it's one thing that makes her not perfect, thankfully, or people would be even farther up her ass.

!!
The thing about Beyonce is all her eras feel equally huge. They're all events
During 4 I constantly remember RTW, Love On Top, Party, Countdown, etc being all over TV, all over radio, and everyone loved them.
There's a lot of eras I'm glad I witnessed as a person who keeps up with charts and liked though.
BEYONCE, 1989, and Frozen.
+ we got to witness Blurred Lines, Happy, and Uptown Funk! break every record back-to-back. It'll be a long time before something like that happens again.

Back from banland and nothing in pop culture has changed
-Rih is still bombing and scrambling together probably-awful songs for her 2016 album
-Taylor is still the Queen of Pop and slaying everyone
-Britney is still over

EOT should have been the lead single from 4.
I'm so mad she went with RTW instead.
