That's a silly assumption to make.
It's obvious that Trump is a billionaire. Hillary is not. In many ways, Trump is more insulated from external influence. He mostly has his own interest to tend to like that article where it reveals he has billions to gain from his tax cut plan. It's easier to read between his lines.
Now if Trump was some career politician, I'd be just as wary of where his funding. Hillary is a lot harder to read in that sense.

I want to see Trump's explanation of crime statistics, the growing economy over the last 8 years, climate change, etc. during the debates. His supporters may not care, but this will be a problem for him with last minute undecided voters, mainly Independents.
He doesn't care about facts, but the debates won't let him slide. He got away with it during the GOP debates, but he has never went face to face with one opponent. Be ready.

Trump won't truly be grilled until late September. A Sarah Palin tea.

Trump is going to fall apart in the debates because Hillary will obliterate his ass. That's the one front I think we all can agree on. Trump is going to struggle massively when he is confronted on a stage with Hillary in a debate. He won't be able to break her like he did his Republican opponents, and he won't be able to outsmart her.

I'm not sure he wants to, though. I don't think he thinks that ad attacks are the way to win. Hillary is dependent on these, but have they worked?
If Trump could win the nomination with little to no advertising, he probably thinks he can do the same winning the presidency.
And you're right - Hillary did just that. But Trump has done the same to Hillary, just in a different way.
|
The donations are literally not coming in. The Koch Brothers, known for being conservative fiscally and financing republicans HARD have repeatedly said no to Trump. Maybe Pence will change that but for now no nothing is coming in. He has less than $10M on hand for his campaign rn (and that number is probably a lot overstated tbh).

Yep. Trump will not be able to hide in a 1-on-1 debate. He was very fortunate that the GOP field was large and fractured.

Yeah Trump was a disaster in debates and did a lot of yelling and screaming and clearly didn't practice If I was Trump I would skip them or hold out unless Stein and Johnson could be there.

I don't think polls ask for sexual orientation... I might be wrong, though. Typically polls and data collection forces never ask for it.

Agreed, though skipping them would be unprecedented and look absolutely horrible.
Gary Johnson might appear if his poll numbers keep rising, but Stein? Not a chance. She's completely irrelevant.

Not a great sample size from this poll, but I believe I've seen more like it. But yeah, the big league pollsters like Quinnipac don't ask for sexual orientation as far as I know.

The New York-based Whitman Insight Strategies made the findings public on Wednesday as a result of a nationwide survey it conducted of 338 likely voters who identified as LGBT.
According to the survey, 84 percent of likely LGBT voters back Clinton, compared to the 16 percent who support Trump, a significant margin showing more than 4 in 5 LGBT voters would vote for the former secretary of state.

Perched for Johnson to pull a Nader on Trump though.

Hillary's convention will probably end the chances of Gary entering the stage. She would have to lose even more ground than after the FBI mess. I don't see it happening because I suspect enthusiasm after next week. Hillary may break 50% soon. Let us pray.

Stein is a reddit masturbatory pipe dream. She won't even get 1% in the general, quote me.
As far as the DNC goes, from an operational standpoint, it will destroy the RNC. The only thing that could make it go wrong is if moron protestors decide to ruin it. Thankfully most of them will be away from Wells Fargo.
