I think IGN will finally give Pokémon a 10 again with X and Y. It's basically gonna be the Mario Galaxy of the Pokémon series with all the new improvements and fresh features, what's much needed after the 5th generation

Metacritic covers just a bunch of Pokémon hating reviews, IGN is the real deal, besides the 8 they gave to Emerald, because they expected a free wireless linking adapter thing, like with FR/LG

I stan hard for Pokémon but plays it in a relax manner. EV and IV training is a hassle for me and tiers are not my bases for picking. I choose to my liking and spam the hell of moves super-effective to my opponents. Status moves are almost always not part of my Pokémon's movepool.

No wonder I was seething while fighting Fantina's Drifblim. That blimp spam Double Team and I can't hit it.

I used to play like this and i still kinda play like this.
Right now i give my pokemon the right attacks but i don't care for nature, IVs or EVs in my in-game runs

I feel the same way I didn't really enjoy the B&W series & I have Black 2, but I never made it pass the 2nd gym because I'm afraid it'll be as boring as the first part

You're not the only one
I don't care about in game IV's and EV's, but on Pokémon Showdown it's really easy to assign a good moveset and all to a Pokémon. It saves me a lot of time

Catching every single Pokémon, hunt for shinies and do special in game runs >>>

Hmmm... I'm kind of like this too. I'm not into competitive battling, I enjoy playing game runs and training the Pokemon I like. I don't care about stats, but I do try to catch a decent Nature. I only started caring about that in Platinum, though

Sort of the same boat. I haven't battled competitively since 2009.

But even in-game I actually prefer grinding time EV training my Pokemon (it's pointless considering the AI's difficulty is a joke but I digress) since I'm not all that interested in half the stuff that's offered to casual gamers (like the PokeStar studios, etc).

Been thinking about going back into the competitive scene again especially after I was testing for the tournament.

The Pokemon is Volcarona. It's too OP. 1 Quiver dance and your team is dead. Needs to be in Ubers tbfqh
