I love how y'all keep bring up songs from Ugliyah's mediocre self-titled.

She tried way too hard for experimental music and ended up getting drowned in the production. Someone with weak ass dry vocals shouldn't be using heavy production.

Production on this song is INSANE, but the vocals are gasping for air and getting NOTHING.



Jazzy funky until the vocals come in and once again, incoherent as hell



Along with those two, those several other songs with almost inaudible lyrics and mumbling over a smooth/hard or catchy beat.

The album is exactly the same typical R&B music that was being made at the time, with production trying to go further than the vocals were. She failed at her "experiment" and the only reason it's seen as some "masterpiece" is because the bitch died trying to shoot a video for one of the worst songs of her career.

How dare you Aaliyah stans coming for Brandy's Full Moon, NSN and AfrodisiGOD when Clapliyah never even came close to the brilliance of those three masterpieces.
