I feel like at this point we won't even get an album next year. He's hardly recording any music and he'll have to promote his movie next year. This is the longest music hiatus he has taken since 2004.
I wonder if the music he recorded for the album wont sound dated next year.
What happened with that horse song thing
The horse song sounded so interesting, it's too bad we probably won't ever hear it. I think he scrapped his album and started over I have no idea what sound he is going with.
He has other interests now. I think this will be his last album..
I think so too unfortunately he doesn't seem that interested in the music industry anymore and he did say once that he didn't want to be touring in his 40's and he is turing 40 in three years.

The fans threatening to bail on him aren't real fans then. I get frustrated with him because he gets lazy with promotion, but I would never bail on him just because he is taking a longer break. I would rather have a really good album, that we can all enjoy rather than something that was rushed that he obviously doesn't like.

Album will come when it will come I guess. He's been gone for 3 years now, and if you remember, the same thing happened during the gap between Confessions and Here I Stand, only I doubt he'd be able to recover nowadays. Singles /=/ album. He's been on ~10 songs single Looking 4 Myself? That's not what I'm after, want that coherent stuff.
Still, I'm waiting patiently haha. Listening to other stuff and just like him, doing other things. I'll be there day one when his new material is out though!
