+1 This is true. Katy does try hard, Rihanna doesn't try hard enough, and Gaga really needs to rein her ideas and performing skills in. I suppose you could also say that Britney is trying harder than she used to nowadays.
As we saw during the grammys, beyonce lipsynchs during her performances and she doesn't even move or dance and her songs are awful. The only advantage she has over katy is that her studio voice is tolerable which is why she can afford to lip synch unlike katy who's stuck sounding bad whatever she does.
