I know all these songs and they sound better on the radio. Taylor has a very radio-friendly commercial voice but that's all. I'm a die-hard fan, but I ain't gonna blindly claim she can sing and dance.

Precisely my stance. She does not have a great voice by any means. I know plenty people--many of whom are in my a Capella group, including myself--who have far better voices than hers. She has improved though, which I respect.
But I love her for her lyrics and the way to paint this amazing picture that you can relate to nearly perfectly. She has such a brilliant way with words (well, prior to some of 1989). She's such a good songwriter and I think she deserves all the success she's had, because se worked so hard to create a really strong, long-lasting career

I love Taylor the most is that she's open-minded, that's why she becomes bigger and bigger. Did anybody promote number 2 songs before when their own songs are number 1? She just love the music, this love keeps her always standing there...ON THE TOP.

Singing other people's songs, is NEVER a comfortable thing to do, I'm here for Taylor to bring more special guests this tour, no matter how risky it is. Listening to your favorite songs, is soooo different from singing those songs with your favorite artists. She listen, she like, most importantly she DO. You go!
Edit: This is what I said "OPEN-MINDED", it's the real power of Taylor Swift, not just her music, once again, she will always stand there...ON THE TOP...if she keeps this.
Edit2:

I like this statement.
And why she has improved? Why she becomes bigger and bigger? Edit3:Not just vocals, so many aspects.

Taylor can sing
some of yall are probably drunk or something
she just has good days and bad days like everyone else
Also taylor clearly made rachel the star of fight song because it's her song and she was giving her the opportunity to shine and break out, when/if rachels a star she'll remember this for the rest of her life.
Also congrats swiftie13 the pics look great, glad you had fun.

Funny how those who haven't seen her live have many negative things to say about her stage presence

As a 34-year-old musician, Rachel FIGHT, SONG is just one thing, she FOUGHT hard for her life, I respect her for it, honestly I respect anyone like this. But only Taylor will be a legend, because she has nearly all the aspects for success, that's the REAL reason why so many parents want their children make her as a role model. That's also why I became a stan in 2013 (You guys know that year, right?)

Exactly, it didn't help at all
After she was signed which she managed to be due to her sheer talent, and drive (didn't she drive to hundreds of record companies and give them her CD and ask for a deal? )
How much would 3% have been worth back then anyways? 3k??? He was just being a smart investor and predicted share price would go up and he'd make money.

But she works extremely well within the range she has and her songwriting and other talents more than makes up for it.
I'd happily go to see any show of hers, whether it be a big pop production or just a small acoustic performance.
She can pull off both tbh.

Yeah, I haven't seen her live, but I thought she was pretty known for being great live (in terms of star presence). So that statement confused me a bit.
Hey I'm not saying she's a terrible or even bad singer, but she is good at best. She is not a great singer, very simply. I've never once been blown away by her live singing. I've Been Impressed, yes, but only in respect to her specifically. I don't like her for her voice, though as I already said, I respect that she's gotten better. Her voice has matured, that's for sure

I just want Taylor bring some really great special guests to my show at MetLife, that show must be the best of this tour. It's for her new home.
Edit: I also checked the sunset time of July, it's nearly the same of today or last night. After that, sunset becomes earlier and earlier, which is good for the opening of the concert. If in my show, WELCOME TO NEW YORK starts at 9:15pm or later, it will be perfect. Edit3: It's highly possible though, because we will have one more opening act: HAIM.
Edit2: Because of the beautiful light up wristbands, after watching some videos, I changed my mind, now I think stadiums might be better venues (At lease for my eyes) for 1989 world tour, especially when the sunlight is not a problem (It's never a problem in IN-DOOR venues though)

Inviting special guests, is not just good for fans to enjoy different music (This is a fact not a goal, NOBODY only listen to one artist NOW, why not guide them to good music, I like Taylor's taste of good music, MUSICALLY), it might also indicate Taylor's new music direction. I'm here for more ROCK.

It already is personal. The "c" member got furious after i unintentionally exposed his double accounts, deleted me on Facebook and is too afraid to add me back when i clearly stated i was sorry and wanted to apologize privately. Fortunately i care more about Taylor and her music than her delusional fans.
I dont need to watch her live to make conclusion. What kinda dated and defensive observation. Sometimes you see more on YT videos than being at The stadium.

I'm not here to choose sides, but did you realize that the strongest members here always speak out their opinions louder? SPEAK NOW!
Edit: Once no reporting in this base, everything is good, once again, I like any kind of debate, Taylor fans are grown and mature enough to think, if you think deeper, you will love Taylor more.
Edit2: But believe me, WATCHING VIDEOS IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM WATCHING THE CONCERT LIVE.
Edit3: For your case, believe me, at least, YOUR EYES will not regret in the stadiums.

i Just cant stand those lame accusations like "you didnt give her your coins", "you didnt buy tickets - not a fan then". Its my personal choice, i have many other faves too. When my long-time fave Katy Perry came to Poland several months ago and The show took place like 2 streets from my apartment, i did not go. I watched her show online before, listened to her songs 1500 times, saw all of her performances and knew what to expect. Same with Taylor. I promoted her album via my website, many people ordered it. Dont feel a need to attend the tour. Didnt go when Beyonce came to my city, didnt go to Gaga, Rihanna, JLo. Im sure Taylor doesnt mind, She has many other fans.
