Mariah is on a rampage. And she does not seem like she wants to stop just yet. After the controversial incident a few days ago, Mariah made headlines again when earlier this morning, local reporters announced that a huge container filled with her physical copies of her album, "The Stygian Chevalier" and her current single which is of the same name dropped and broke open in the ocean, and it is contains a limited edition cover to both the album and single. According to rumors spread by Mariah's haters, it was said that Mariah approved of this incident to drop her latest physical albums and single to the ocean worldwide. The hashtag #MCsingleintheocean and #MCalbumintheocean was trending for 7 hours straight after the incident was revealed.
The incident caused a huge outrage from environmentalist and government officials alike worldwide. Environmentalist worldwide has since taken on Facebook and twitter to express their disappointment in this controversial matter. "Throwing things down into the ocean has been a problem for us humans over the years. Especially plastic as there are over 50 million plastic wastes reported to be dumped in the ocean. And now, Mariah Carey adds to the huge environmental problem by the dumping of her latest physical albums and single in the ocean.", says an environmentalist during an interview when asked about the rumors. Some Government officials have also stated their disappointment in Mariah's actions too. It seems that negotiations have been made between the Government officials and Camouflage Records team since then.
Although backlash of Mariah's actions were obvious, many people crowded their local beaches to find Mariah's limited edition cover physical albums and single. Some of the people have even took to the extend to rent a boat to find those elusive copies. The sales of the local shops have experienced an increase because of the fluctuation of people coming to the beaches. Shop owners have expressed their thanks to Mariah for the help. Mariah Carey and her team have yet to make an official statement on this controversial matter as of yet.
But I hope all you know Lily had literally ZERO input for the "Psycho" video. He had another one planned that never came to be. I wrote it all myself in 10 minutes as I was typing, no planning or changing made, no other writers.
GOOD MORNING AMERICA
(Summer Concert Series + Interview)
Things for Taylor Swift only keep getting better. With the release of her seventh studio album, 'Electric Princess', happening this week along with the release of her brand new single 'Cathedrals' from the record, it seems to also be a busy week for the singer-songwriter who had an amazing night tonight as she managed to bag two MTV Video Music Awards alongside best friend and collaborator Paige Elliot for their collaboration 'Psycho'. Out of the two nominations that the music video for 'Psycho' was nominated for, they won both. The two awards won were 'Best Collaboration' and the biggest award of the night, 'Video of The Year'. Taylor went up on stage to accept her award with high energy, which people found slightly off after Taylor didn't seem so thrilled with the MTV Video Music Awards after her music video for ''Gunshots", another collaboration of Taylor's that was shared with aspiring R&B artist Zendaya who released her brand new single 'Lost in Paradise' this week as well, serving as competition for Taylor. Speaking of her victory at the MTV Video Music Awards, Taylor seemed very well collected but excitement was evident on her face. "You know I attended tonight really just to perform. I didn't expect to win anything as another video of mine wasn't really treated fairly but I'm really glad I came and was able to accept these awards on the behalf of Paige who unfortunately couldn't be here tonight. But we took home Video of The Year for 2014 baby!" Taylor cheered, holding up her moon man before she was escorted by her manager out of the The Forum in Inglewood, California (Becky G's home town).
Taylor Swift quickly then was escorted via SUV to LAX airport where she caught her own personal private jet to JFK in New York City where she would appear on the morning television show, Good Morning America where she would be interviewed and would have her very on Good Morning America Summer Concert Series mini-concert. Taylor hit the main stage outside in Central Park near the last thirty minutes of the show. Unlike usual, the audience did not see Taylor rehearse. Instead, they saw Taylor on stage for the first time with the rest of America watching. Taylor rose out of the stage wearing a sparkled oversized top with a pair of old tore blue jeans with a pair of heels, serving urban meets disco chic as she performed 'In Love for a Night', the fifth track off her newly released album, 'Electric Princess.' Swift's performance consisted of mainly choreography as she sang the verse but used pre-recorded vocals during the chorus as the urban influenced disco uptempo song called for some choreography. The sound of bass blaring out of the speakers caused the audience to roar as Taylor would perform the most sensual song on the album, 'Sex Kitten'. Male dancers joined her on stage as Taylor and her dancers grinder on them and felt them up a little, a few of her dancers groping on the dancers before they did some junior high dance grinding choreography with them, giving it a very 70s feel meets Material Girls feel. The last two songs Taylor performed were 'Cathedrals' and 'Loverboy'. Both songs in which Taylor performed with just a microphone, minus 'Cathedrals' in which she did a little segment of choreography. 'Loverboy' was just Taylor alone on a stage performing as she got involved with the audience, letting all six thousand of them sing along with her seventh number one single, which topped the singles charts this week..
Following the mini concert, Taylor was interviewed about her brand new seventh album and the new single, along with her impressive MTV Video Music Awards wins and performance. "Taylor Swift just finished an amazing live set as apart of our Summer Concert series and now she's here to talk to us about her brand new album, 'Electric Princess' which is out now. Tell us a little about the record, Taylor." The host told Taylor who was still catching her breath from the performing. "The album, 'Electric Princess', is a record that I wrote when going through one of the craziest times of my life. I'd just went through a massive fall out with a guy who I cared about but at the same time I was drawn into a whirlwind of partying, drinking, and lust. I experienced things I never thought I would. I tried things I swore I would never try. I also happened to fall deeply in love during this time and all that was written or logged in the album. The disco sound of the record came from the night I met Simon in Paris. We actually met at a club that was having a disco night. I remember we shared a dance to Donna Summer's 'Last Dance'. I remember that night so well." Taylor laughed as the next question was quickly underway. "Congratulations on your MTV Video Music Awards wins. How are you feeling about taking home both awards with Paige?" Taylor smiled. "It feels really nice to be able to win a VMA without someone trying to take it from me or snub me" Taylor joked before being serious. "In all seriousness it's really nice. The VMAs did sort of make it up to me that they didn't nominate 'Gunshots' I must say." A random question popped in about girl groups. "What's your opinion of the current girl groups?" Taylor gushed. "I absolutely love them. G.R.L. is ridiculously talented. They are all amazing vocalists and are sweet girls. I really like Danity Kane's discography and Neon is pretty cool too. I'm so glad they're having such great success. It's nice." The last question was about Taylor's single 'Cathedrals' in which she addressed the meaning and when the world could expect the music video. "'Cathedrals' is one of the final songs I wrote for Electric Princess. It is about who everyone thinks it is. I just gave it away, damn it. Yeah, it's not really about having sex with a church or not believing in jesus. It's kind of a metaphor for love. When I met this person, I didn't believe in love. They were innocent and a good person. I felt really bad at myself when I met this person. I'd just did thing I regret and I asked myself why I had to fall for this person. I was going to hurt them because I always had my walls up. They tore them down so easily and I couldn't let go of them because I loved every moment we were together." She then answered when the music video would arrive. "I would say you can expect the music video on Thursday. That seems like a suitable arrival for it I think." It was then that Taylor left the stage to continue promotion elsewhere. The appearance helped 'Electric Princess' greatly, giving the album a boost on on digital retailers as well as physical retailers.
