But I'm also confident that the album will jump to #1 in December.

Love it all. I couldn't stop smiling for the first 4 songs. The classic ones just reminded me of Christmas and childhood memories. "Winter Dreams" is super cute. That chorus needs to find its way to a movie or commercial. I hope she sings that one at the xmas special. Love the original ones. In love with the whole album

Skipping Halloween and Thanksgiving and jumping straight to a Kelly Clarkson Christmas. I love that she waited this long to make a holiday album. It just feels perfect. Her voice, the different styles of music, you can hear her happiness.... she just shines

Yes, she mentioned that in the Billboard article. The producer Greg Kurstin had her sing all the backing vocals

He even had Clarkson sing all her own backing vocals - a pleasure for Clarkson, who grew up singing in a chorus. "Blending is something I knew how to do from my childhood," she says. "Sometimes I'd have to do an alto instead of a soprano because they needed a bigger sound. But I've never had to do anything like this before--doing all my own backup vocals, essentially being my own choir."
