I can't believe I made it out alive. That was breathtaking. I cried so many times. I'll say more tomorrow, I'm beat up and I had to wait forever to get a taxi. Philly traffic must be pissed at her cause 50k disciples filllllled the streets
@taylorswift13 SPECIAL GUEST IS @RachelPlatten !!!! FIGHT SONG #1989TourPhilly
This is my fight song
Take back my life song
Prove I'm alright song
My powers turned on
Starting right now I'll be strong
I'll play my fight song
And I don't really care
If nobody else believes
Cause I've still got
A lot of fight left in me
The chorus is EPIC, I need the video ASAP!!!
Edit: C'mon the video online right now, stopped right when the chorus started #YouMissedTheBestPart
The difference between Rachel's parts and Taylor's crazy to think that Lord is the successful artist
Exactly my point. Taylor can't sing and her stage presence leaves a lot to be desired. Rachel did literally overshadow her during the performance, not to mention the song itself is a perfect empowerment anthem.
Thank god she's a great lyricist and knows well how to write catchy pop songs. It saved her tbh. Many great artists can't produce a bop. Taylor releases bops after bops. This + her father's money = perfect combination.
Her father's money did not help that much. That aspect is a myth and way overblown. Sis just has crazy drive and work ethic. Always plotting something.
Omg. Rachel making Lord look like such an amateur.
Thank you very much for the video! I got up early today for this. Last night was crazy...stopped right when the chorus started?
Honestly, I like this duet, it's more like blending two styles together and making the music better, than blandly imitating. In my view, Rachel also sounds better here than in FIGHT SONG MV.
My question is: Where did they do the SOUNDCHECK? After Imagine Dragons and Little Big Town (People knew the songs ahead because of SOUNDCHECK), they obviously did some change.
I'm not saying she's a born entertainer, but her vocals are worse than her stage presence, imo
To be honest, that's why I didn't buy my tickets to 1989 Tour in London. I knew what to expect and based on the videos, it's a pretty boring show. I know all these songs and they sound better on the radio. Taylor has a very radio-friendly commercial voice but that's all. I'm a die-hard fan, but I ain't gonna blindly claim she can sing and dance.
