The world keeps paying these superior, actually talented lesbian haircut pop girls dust. Robyn, now Betty Who...at least La Roux managed one global hit.
They are both known, just not for their music probably at least in the US. One is the crazy drunk diva and the other is the old lady who embarrassed herself during the Superbowl and hates GaGa.

Somebody Loves You WILL happen
The gays will make it so... eventually
Even tho THIS is the song of hers that deserves to smash the most:
To be fair I think Moo has more relevance than Madead with today's generation because she was massive during the 90s and everybody likes to reminisce on their ~childhood~ 90s music.

+ she has current hits.
"We Belong Together" was the biggest song of the 2000's. That was 4 years ago (the 00's, not 2005), anybody over 12 remembers the song. "Touch My Body" was #1 in 2008, 6 years ago. Anybody over 12 remembers it also. "#Beautiful" was a hit LAST YEAR, anybody who has a bigger brain than Britney remembers it.
I hate when people try to act like Mariah is just/less as relevant as Madonna.
The problem is that Mariah songs are just not referenced or have any kind of cultural impact attached to them. After they fall out of charting, they die (besides her annoying Christmas song).
Even as a vocalist with songs tailored for auditioning folk @ American Idol and such shows, her songs are rarely sang. inb4 someone says, "that's because no one can sing like that!"
She doesn't really have any impact, just success. Madonna had both, and you can't dispute it.
