I can understand the rest of the shade though. This is a
hipster jazz crowd, they're obviously against popstars. The fact that she was there and that she's getting a positive reaction is impressive. They could have dragged her. They didn't. She just needs to remind people of her true self. 'NMT', 'YB', 'FTM' and 'The Voice' have distracted people from 'ANOM' and the James Brown tribute. She'll be just fine once she bounces back with music that she's actually feeling.
And dead at them saying it's too late to turn back when Madonna did an alternative electro album 15 years after her debut, after being a laughing stock to non-pop fans for years.
