Okay so now that we have all of the songs, I thought of a fun game to play on these boards.
Go down the track list and assign each song to an artist that you feel would fit the song/do the song justice.
For example, my picks:
1. Bird Set Free - P!nk, she has the raspy vocals for the verses and I think her voice would sound fantastic on the party chorus, plus it seems like a song Pink would have on an album.
2. Alive - Kelly Clarkson, because I think she's the only female vocalist besides Sia who could belt out the chorus super powerful.
3. One Million Bullets- 5th Harmony, I could totally see them singing a song like this, especially harmonizing during the "How many would you take" post chorus.
4. Move Your Body - Rihanna, Shakira would be the obvious first choice but she passed and this is would've been a great comeback single for her. (As well as Shakira... What was she thinking rejecting this? )
Unstoppable - Jessie J. This is a very versatile song, I feel like a lot of popular artists could pull it off but I can hear Jessie in my head belting out that pre chorus like it's nobody's buisness.
Cheap Thrills - Miley Cyrus. The song has a similar message to We Can't Stop, and represents Miley's image in a way. It's a lower register song and Miley sounds great in her lower register. Since the lyrics are so bland but the melody is incredible, I could see them pitching this to Kesha or Britney too.
Reaper - Demi Lovato! Her voice would fit this song perfectly, goes great with the theme of her Confiher album. And she could nail that vibrato just as good as Sia.
House On Fire - Ellie Goulding, this song is really unique and I think it'd be a perfect fit for her. I could hear her putting her own electro twist on the chorus. The way Sia sings it is similar to how Ellie sings.
Footprints - Leona Lewis. Not much to be said. She'd sound great on this song, her voice is very ethereal and soulful at the same time, it'd be a perfect match.
Sweet Design - Rihanna hands down. If they made it longer it fits in with BBHMM, it's raunchy, sexual, it's the sound she's going for this era.
Broken Glass - Beyonce, do I need to explain? We all know Bey would vocally own this song, especially since so many of her own songs have key changes at the end.
Space Between - Sam Smith, his angelic falsetto and incredible belt would sound fantastic on this song. Space Between actually reminds me of Lay Me Down a little bit. Sia writes songs for boys right lol?
Fist Fighting Through A Sandstorm - Rihanna, it'd be a great anthem for her. Something a little different but still her style.
Summer Rain - This was tough, I'm giving it to Lorde though. I think she'd give an interesting take on the song. I do think Jessie J. would thissong justice as well.
Let me know who you'd want to sing these songs since they were all except one written for other artists. Sia did fantastic on ALL of them but it's fun to wonder
