I think it's not that surprised since she actually exceeded the expectation

HDD predicted : 68 - 73k in pure sales - she did 75k
HDD predicted : 88 - 93k in SPS - she did 96k

Technically it debuted at #1 as the BB200 is not purely based on sales anymore.
It wasn't the best selling album though.
