Nicki Minaj On Jimmy Fallon
Nicki Minaj visited her friend Jimmy Fallon to talk about her new album, "Trinidad", and perform her new single "Twin Peaks". Minaj also was the co-star of a recurring skit on Fallon's show, "Ew!", where she played Tanya, Sara's new sassy friend. Before the performance and skit, though, Nicki was interviewed by Jimmy.
JF: Nicki! It's great to have you back on the show, it feel like its been forever.
N: I know, I love coming on, everyone's so nice.
JF: I have to say, your new single "Twin Peaks" has been a guilty pleasure of mine since it cane out.
N: What you mean "guilty pleasure". "Guilty pleasure" my ass, I know for a fact you used to bump my **** backstage in makeup and ****. Ha, "guilty pleasure", n**** yo show a guilty pleasure ever since they took Jay Leno off TV.
JF: Oh, Nicki, you're such a hoot! So, how has your new album been coming along?
N: It's been great, actually! I've been in this really mellow place with my life, and I feel like that is reflected in Twin Peaks and also most of the record.
JF: I would say mellow is a side that the general public doesn't see a lot from you, Nicki. If we're being honest, I was kinda hoping I would see some Roman on the album.
N: Don't you worry! I have a Roman song called "Savage" on the album that I think all the gay boys and ratchet girls will be listening to for a while after its release. As for another secret Roman project, well, you'll just have to wait and see.
JF: Who were you able to work with for the album? Any new faces?
N: Well, most of the album is solo material, although there are a handful of collaborations on the album. Austin Mahone is on this one song, it's very fun and something radio would eat up. He's such a nice guy, and he was so easy to work with. We actually already have plans for a video of the song, if we do ever release it as a single. One song thats on the album is one I'm really excited for, it has all my favorite girls out right now on it. Ariana Grande is on it, and she does her little singing thing, but she also spits a little Gwen Stefani-like verse on it. Azealia Banks is on it as well, she was the first person I asked to be on the track. I thought I was crazy, thinking I could have such a big track. Actually, after we made the song, I sent Azealia a song that has Roman on it, and she sent me back a little idea of a few verses for it. It's definitely a song hardcore fans of both of us will love, sorta like Roman's Revenge.
JF: Wow! Weren't you just on a remix of Azealia's song "Metamorph"?
N: Yes! We were just ****ing around in the studio with it, but we polished it up and released it. I love working with her.
JF: When is the Twin Peaks video coming out? What is it about?
N: I have a feeling the video will be out verrrry soon. It's a lot like the TV series, in a way, except here I am, a black girl running around in this scary ass town. It's more of a scenic thing, though, no narrative to it.
JF: Sounds great! Other than the artists you've talked about already, who else are you into lately?
N: Hmm. Vanessa Anne Hudgens, beautiful girl, beautiful voice. Justin Beiber, of course. We've been listening to Memphis at the photoshoot for the album cover a lot. I love everything really!
JF: Well, sounds like you're definitely a fangirl. You know who else I think are fan girls, Nicki?
N: Who, Jimmy?
JF: Sara and Tanya!
After this intro, the program showed the Ew skit with Nicki in it. In it, Nicki plays Tanya and talks about her mom's many jobs. At the end of the skit, the two girls have a dance party to Nicki's hit "Starships".
After the skit, Nicki took the stage to perform her single "Twin Peaks". Nicki stood center stage, with fake trees spread across the stage. The instrumental of the song started, and a red light lit up the stage in an almost demonic way. Nicki looked up to the camera to rap the first verse of the song. She stayed in place until the chorus, where she turned her head slowly to left as she sung. When she got to the second verse, her head snapped to the left as she rapped. As the chorus began, Nicki turned back to the center, and then to the right. After her third verse was completed, Nicki threw the microphone behind her as the red light of the stage intensely burned. She pushed down the trees on the stage as the instrumental continued. She grabbed a mic stand and began swinging at multiple things on stage. When most of the equipment on the stage had been completely broken or damaged, the camera zoomed into Nicki's face as she breathed heavily. The instrumental comes to an end and the crowd breaks into a tremendous applause. Jimmy comes on stage and says: "You can buy Nicki's new single "Twin Peaks" on iTunes now, have a good night everyone!"

Austin Mahone covers YRB Magazine
900 words. Tehee.
Heartthrob Austin Mahone makes his debut on YRB Magazine. He released his highly anticipated single "Wait For This Love" on iTunes a couple says ago and it shot straight to number one! The entire world had heard the song and we all fell in love with the way it sounded. Radio had no problem playing the song at all and it caught on pretty quickly. It also spread and got spins on all formats. Maybe Austin is bringing true R&B back to the music scene and putting his own spin to it. Austin has gotten a lot of acclaim and we can't wait to see what else he has up his sleeve. Anyway, Austin sat with us and gave us all of the tea, soup, and inside scoop on his new music.
We brought Austin in and sat him down in a comfortable surrounding in a pitch black room. We put him in a comfy black chair that he could rest in because we could tell he was exhausted from all the promo and and running around he's done for his new single. He's a hard worker and we don't want to stop his grind because he's obviously doing something right. Austin has came a long way and he deserves all the succes that's come his way and we just wanted him to be as relaxed as possible.
Austin greeted everyone before we got into the interview. He said his hellos to the sound guy and the guy behind the spotlight and everything. A well-mannered guy indeed. We started the interview on his new single. Austin perked up in his chair when we brought it up. You could by the look in his eyes that although he's been talking about the song for forever now, he's so proud of it and he's so confident in it. Its amazing that the he took on the task of writing and producing the song himself. No writers, no high name producers, nothing. It was just Austin and his friend Robert. And the fact that the song has become a single puts the icing on the cake.
"I just want everyone to see how hard I've been working. I don't want anyone to see me growing up as an adult and still singing songs like Banga Banga or What About Love. That's why I went and locked myself in the room with Robert and just started writing. The song means so much to me, also. Its for my debut album and it already seems like such an accomplishment and a huge milestone in my career. You normally see regular artist hiring writers and a slew of producers, but I can pride myself on that. Had the single flopped or not... I wouldn't have it any other way." Austin inquired.
From the look on his face made every word believable. His words sent a chill down everyone's spine as his words sent an echo through the entire room. We then brought up topic of his upcoming album that the world is so ready to hear so desperately. Austin has been teasing us about the release of his debut album ever since he revealed his smash lead single "Wait For This Love". We don't think he knows how eager we are to hear him give us a release date. The name of the album. The album cover... Something! He leaned back in his chair matter-of-factly and gave us a smile of those pearly whites.
"I know you guys want my album more than you want to take your next breath... But rest assured, it coming. Soon. Sooner than you think actually. I say this a million times and I'll gladly say it again, this album will be everything. I feel like my EP was an appetizer and my album is the full course meal that the world is waiting for. Haha, I don't want to hype up my album too much but then again I don't. Its like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. But I can say that with this album I learned a lot about myself and what my limits are. I know what my weaknesses are and I know what my strengths are. I know what I'm good at and I know what I can give to my fans that I know they'd like. I want to please my Mahomies before anyone one because they almost know me better than I know myself. And I owe them nothing but quality with this project. They believed in me back when I was still covers on Youtube. But now they've gotten me to where I can release a full length album and they deserve the best. No if-and-or-buts. And that's exactly what I want to give them!" Austin said.
And that's what we interviewed him about before we felt comfortable letting him go. We got all that we needed and wanted out of him. We also didn't want to spend all of our time because we were sure he had to catch a flight or something afterwards. It would rude of us to prevent him from that. And what we learned from this interview is how much he cares about his fans. He does everything for them and we know they will take him very far. We just know it.
Wait For This Love is now on iTunes. Purchase NOW!

People should just stop caring about the quantity of the articles. Not everyone has the time to write 1000 words. let's stay up with the quality and ofc the host's logic, the promo slots etc etc.

KATY PERRY PERFORMING "HOT POT" ON US X-FACTOR
While remaining on the top spots of iTunes and Spotify plus getting spinned by US's biggest radios, Katy performed her new lead single live, for the very first time.
As one of the most successful music shows ever, X Factor had a very special guest, world's biggest popstar, Katy Perry, who made her comeback this week with her new single Hot Pot. Before the show, Katy's performance was promoted through many ads and that's why the ratings of the X factor were higher than usually. Katy closed the show, giving an excellent performance of her new song.
The HP singer was wearing this Valentino-made outfit http://d.ibtimes.co.uk/en/full/25706...039-choice.jpg, confirming Katy's upcoming kinda dark era. The grey outfit was consisted of 10 diamonds and costed more than 32,000 dollars according to a reliable source. Katy's make up was on point and she also debuted her new dark blue-purple hair on which later commented that "it's my favorite colour so far to be honest, new album, new hair i love this combination". She was really glittering in the stage. Katy's body confirmed that she's on the best physical situation. Everybody was waiting for Katy to sing and dance to the new single.
Katy was introduced to the stage by a 30 seconds video clip which showed Katy's past achievements, her album sales, single sales, touring gross, #1 singles and many more. Then, the host shouted her name. The lights were already on Katy's glittering outfit.
The song started to play. Katy and her dancers took their positions under the excited crowd's clapping. It was incredible how Katy could dance comfortably and self confidentially. No one had ever seen this side of Katy, something that she was working for more than 3 months. The choreo of the dance pop song was challenging but on point, Katy managed to finish the entire choreo without mistake or ..any awkward moments. The back up dancers were great, too. They had the same choreo more less but with some more challenging parts than Katy's one.
Katy's vocals were on point the most of the time even though the backup track was covering her voice during the intense chorus. Katy really showed her vocals, which were improved since the prismatic era, during the bridge which is the highlight of the song. After finishing the song, the crowed stood up and clapped to Katy's performance. The first live performance of the lead single of her upcoming album was a success.
The host of X-Factor hugged her and said "Katy Perry everyone...Hot Pot is out, thank you for being here katy". Katy thanked the crowd and the host. She was obviously touched because that was her first performance after 2,5 years. She pulled off the dance pop song nicely and the music blogs-people didn't lie.
"@Perez Hilton: U go guuurl, my bf's new single is out now and it's HOT."
"@xfactorUS: thanks for this amazing performance @katyperry"
"@MTVMusic: Katy Perry absolutely slayed tonight by performing her new lead single"
@elliegoulding: @katyperry You served it tonight bitch #HotPot"
Katy's lead single has all the banners on iTunes Pop and iTunes Dance plus the 20 sec main snippet on Spotify. It was also serviced in the radio stations, been premiered on z100.

Avril Lavigne Releases New Single "I'll Lie To Myself"

Date Released: December 28, 2014
Label: Paragon Records
Recorded: Eastcotes Studio, London
Genre: Pop Rock
Producers: Dan Wilson, Ryan Tedder
Writers: Avril Lavigne, Dan Wilson, Ryan Tedder
"I'll Lie To Myself" is a " power ballad " accompanied with soul oriented sounds and is generally slower paced than her previous singles. The song boasts off a slow, powerful ballad pairing Avril's voice with a looping piano line, Lavigne narrates the feeling of being left behind by soneone you love. The lyrics shows Lavigne difficulty on coming into terms with letting go by trying her best to forget him and make herself believe that the relationship did not happen at all. The chorus of the song lets Avril belt out her vocals and end it with her falsetto. The Bridge of the song intensifies as it reaches its peak giving the song's sophistication, she gets to reach the highest notes on the song's final chorus. The song ends with her voice descending into its fuller and
more melancholy state matching the loopibg piano lines.
Lavigne expressed her initial reservations prior to meeting with Dan Wilson and Ryan Tedder as she haven't worked with them in the past. When they met up for a meeting, Lavigne showed to them the draft of her lyrics to the song and Wilson got interested in helping Lavigne finish the song since he sees it being a very emotional and a relatable hit. Ryan Tedder helped on injecting other parts of the song. Lavigne shared her visiob for the song and since then, Tedder and Wilson confirmed to Paragon Records that they have plans on making Lavigne's newest record more cohesive and sincere.
Lyrics Snippet:
"Letting you go is something I cant quite figure out
No matter how hard I've tried
I'll lie to myself, That's the best way out
I can't remember how many times I've cried"
I'll Lie To Myself was released on radio stations iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Target, Walmart etc worldwide on December 28, 2014.
Reviews:
RollingStone : Lavigne proves that she still can go back to her roots that we all love. The track is very relatable, a clever way from Lavigne's team to start her new era.
Billboard : After releasing tons of bratty bubblegum pop singles, Avril really surprised us with her new single. The flawless ballad is very perfect for the season. We like how Lavigne conveyed her emotions in a very heartfelt way. Indeed, the track stands by the name of her album. Very heartfelt and confessional.
PopMatters : Just when you thought, she is over. You might need to think twice because after hearing I'll Lie To Myself, We suddenly felt the spark. The spark comes from the emotions that the song has, It does not sound forced and to be honest, Lavigne suits this kind of materials.
