Who cares if Lauryn and Missy haven't been relevant, they are the ones who are respected by the industry and their receipts especially Lauryn's speak for themselves. Nicki is respected by critics, SOME of the gp still have a problem with her because some of her work is a little unusual but this era perceptions definitely have changed.
Although Lauryn's is probably more respected by critics, I think it'd be safe to say a lot of the GP don't even know who she is anymore. I mean Beyonce & Nicki have a lot of young fans who probably help a great deal with their sales.
