I was kinda curious what direction Kanye would go for his, seeing "Love Lockdown" was totally his new style then Heartless leaked... Heartless continues Kanye's heartbreak anthems to go along with the concept of "808s & Heartbreak." Kanye West is to be admired for his continual efforts to push the boundaries of both hip hop and pop genre. The track composes with Kanye's autotune vocal and it's packed with piano samples and outstanding craftsmanship done by the arranger and producer of the song. The lyrics captivates the listeners about his recent relationship that went sour, as Kanye sings in the chorus,"In the night I hear 'em talk, the coldest story ever told. Somewhere far along this road, he lost his soul to a woman so heartless." The track is simple yet sends out a powerful message about going through a bad breakup. Kanye has reached new height in making songs that are radio friendly, refreshing, and worth listening. Therefore, Kanye always wowed everyone with his records and proved that Heartless is a track that defines one of the greatest moments in his music career.
5. Madonna - Miles Away

From the Album : Hard Candy 2007:Peter Bjorn and John - Young Folks 2006:Red Hot Chili Peppers - Dani California 2005:Kanye West Feat. Adam Levine - Heard 'Em Say 2004:Kanye West - The New Workout Plan
Yes! I know! Another Madonna track! Well what can I say, all her recent singles are amazing, especially Miles Away. The track starts with a collaboration between Timbaland's hip-hop beat and string of guitar melodies making it both mesmerizing and fun. However, the track is not a dancefloor single, it signifies a story of two people being in a long distance relationship. We're not sure if Madonna wrote this song based on her own relationship with Guy Ritchie, but it's definitely a song everyone can relates to. Madonna's emotional vocal shines through the track a she sings "We’re always at our best when we’re miles away." Everytime I listened to Miles Away, I would find something new, a moment that I discovered whether it would be a sad or happy ones. It's one of those songs that are just truly great and stand up right on its own. I'm really ticked off that Madonna did not provide a clip for this video because I imagined the video to be flawless. However, Miles Away is still a Madonna classic and ten years from now, I'm pretty sure I would still love this song just like the first time I've heard it.
