I was thinking the same thing just now after just having watched the episode. I thought it was kinda weird how Rachel called her relationship with Sam a 'friendship' and then the ending with Jesse.
Anyway, another great episode. I loved the ending with the trophies, Listen to Your Heart and Chandelier were really great. I have to say though even the 30 seconds of Kurt and Blaine we got in total was annoying. I really dislike their characters.

I'd like to host it. Maybe after the AHS Characters rate ends, to avoid any conflict? In that case Glee will already be ended and it can work as a cute way to go through all the past seasons too!

PLease do I wanted to, but I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing

There's over 700 covers, so that's certainly not gonna work unless they're split up, and I doubt anyone would really want to participate. Even with a character one, at least old fans can still join in because the originals are far from unforgettable, and they can chime in with their rates (and bring a very predictable newbies bashing. )
Yeah, start it after AHS. Hopefully there'll be some gleeks (whether undercover or not) that'll be interested.

I think Finn could grab an easy win just based on... well, you know.

I think we should have one part of the to be be done by season. After we complete the rate for the first season, we go to season 2 and etc, and then after we get the best of each season, we hold a final one for the top 6 songs. Or we can just do all of them at once

Thank God we're into the final three episodes where we're basically guaranteed quality and a bucket full of feels. This one was great, luckily there wasn't anything too messy or whatnot. The whole puking thing (of course, done by the horribly milked-out Sue) wasn't necessary but thankfully it was just a small part and didn't go overboard, just like the other events around that point. I loved the big debate between the Warblers and New Directions, all the insults flying around were definitely humorous. Other scenes such as the ones involving Rachel's big decision were great, especially with Samchel (dd at the Kesha shade and the Gaga namedrop.) Jesse coming back was nice, the songs were well done, the performances were really amazing and I loved all the gimmicks and extra stuff that each team did, it definitely brought up the intensity of the competition. The performance for Come Sail Away really started the feels as it was a fantastic song choice and they did so well with it, and also knowing that it's one of their last ones as a group made things bittersweet. Sue's whole explanation on her plan was whatever but at least it was funnier than most of the things she's done this season. The ending was fantastic and bitch you best believe I shed a tear, those flashbacks are never cute but they know it's exactly what they need to get us crying. Great episode.
Episode 2 > 1 > 8 > 11 > 9 > 6 > 7 > 3 > 5 >>> 4 > 10

The Sam/Rachel situation annoys me so hard. They didn't even break up!

I'm sorry, but two seasons of Looking have made it almost impossible for me to look at the Jesse St. James character as a serious love interest for Rachel... or anyone, really.
Good episode, though!

This show seems like it's stuck in a perpetual state of non-progress, and I think it is self aware (I'm not sure if that's good enough). I mean they are literally reusing scripts from previous seasons, and Will poked fun at how many times Sue said "you have crossed me for the last time". And it's true. This show has nothing more to offer. There isn't any more story to tell. It's literally just for gags at this point.
And wow. Jesse got so FAT... and old looking. Those wrinkles
The fat kid can SANG tho. Love his voice. And that little run the white girl did at Chandelier threw me off a lil. Mercedes teas.

Yeah, a season-by-season thing would be a good split. Though I still think it wouldn't be as popular nor as necessary as a character rate.

Only the Sue-centered episodes were stupid. For the most part.

The songs for 2009 are out. Well, they're online, but not on iTunes (yet.)
I listened to them and did some mini reviews, and also did the same for Episode 11's song list since I'm only hearing those covers in full now.
We Built This Glee Club
Come Sail Away - 10/10
An absolute slay. Fantastic group number.
Mickey - 10/10
This really slayed. The chorus and background vocals, too >>>. Probably new VA's best cover.
We Built This City - 9.5/10
Love this, the original is so cute and this is a nice, fitting selection for VA. Works well for them all the way.
Listen to Your Heart - 9.5/10
Great St. Berry duet.
Chandelier - 9/10
Doesn't necessarily fit the voices of nearly everyone included in this number, but still great overall.
Take Me to Church - 8.5/10
Hate the original, but I enjoy this. I feel it's more suited for Roderick's voice anyways. The second verse is kind of eh but that's due to the song, not how they sang it.
2009
Popular - 9.5/10
Yes yes yes. Finally they did this! Obviously it's perfect for Rachel and Kurt, and will work very well for the episode.
Pony - 9.5/10
Ooop I wasn't expecting a more tame version of this song. Sounds great! Also wish it was longer than 2 minutes.
I Kissed a Girl - 9/10
Cuteeee, especially since it's just a throwback audition song.
I'm His Child - 8/10
Typical Mercedes. Still good, but nothing special or new.

Basically this. I think really few people would get into such a huge rate of Glee coves. Even if split by seasons, they still would have to listen and rate each song and it would be too much
Unless it's done with a selection of, dunno, the 50/75 most popular songs? The problem in this case would be how to determinate their popularity. Through Youtube views? Of course, the performances uploaded on Glee's channel have more views by default and it would be a huge work to search every single song and combine the views from different videos to make a final rank. A days-long job.
A characters rate is definitely more accessible.

Yeah, true. Definitely agree with everything you said, it'd be a lot more difficult for those that want to participate but don't remember a lot of the older covers or only like Glee for the music but only heard a select few. The process for picking the most popular songs would also be a struggle for sure, as Glee had to make things difficult by taking off all the performances before the current season (for whatever reason.) I don't know, I think it'd just be kind of a waste and would kind of be bound to flop. Also, speaking of which, I really hope they reupload or unprivate all the videos they took off once the series ends, it'd be great to actually have all the performances up and not have to rely on any pitched, zoomed in, LQ/MQ versions that fans upload.
Oop, really? I don't really look at Glee downloading sites, I mostly just pay attention to [rhymes with horrent] sites but people are usually so late at uploading them, though the songs aren't officially out yet so I was thinking they were actually really early this time.

Also, let's pray the finale can at least rise to 2.5m viewers
This week it rose of a nice 10% in ratings. Still cable numbers thanks to this stupid Friday slot too but at least it's in positive trend again.
It's so sad thinking it used to have 4x more the viewership!

I will miss this show so much. The music, the performances, the drama, the comedy. Also the last two minutos of the last episode really got me all emotional. All those great moments!

I'm going to make a test list of songs per season and leave out the songs that were performed for like 4 seconds (The Climb, Cabaret, Pilot Auditions) and used as background, just to see if it works

waiT it rose 10%? That's pretty great. It should definitely rise a little more just because people do know it's ending and even those that haven't watched in a while at least want to see what happens.
