Rita Ora's musical debut was as the featured vocalist on DJ Fresh's "Hot Right Now". I'm pretty sure this is the last UK #1 in the rate, so congrats for that at least! I really love the beginning of this song with the "Throw your hands up", but it doesn't live up to the hype of the introduction. It's still a bop though! I really don't like how the song is critical of people who are late to musical trends. Like, just because someone is late to a type of music doesn't mean they can't like it just as much as you. But, like I said, it's still a decent bop.

Anna Calvi makes her second appearance as "Desire" is eliminated. This track reminds me a bit of Bruce Springsteen in the beginning, but I don't know much about rock so maybe her inspiration came from somewhere else. The chorus is very strong and hooky, which is always important. In the last 90 seconds, the energy and intensity are turned up to the max; it's nice to hear that kind of passion.

This is the most obviously catchy song by CocknBullKid, so it's no surprise that this is her highest-ranked song. The music in the beginning of the song is so lovely, but then the pace changes a bit for the chorus, which is sorta weak. "Must have a taste for the fluoride" is such a bizarre lyric. Thoughts of "Hometown Glory" come to mind, which is Adele's love letter to London, but "Asthma Attack" shows a more love/hate relationship with London from Anita's perspective.
