However, being that low (not in relation to anyone's specific position) with such high airplay gains and coming out not too long ago...is a little baffling...but we'll see - it could easily bounce back up. :P

It think its because its Britney's first single as compared to Rihanna's third which has been available for purchase since 11/16.
No need to worry though. Her sales will skyrocket once the video is released.
BTW I'm not shading Brit. Love her too. Im not really worried about her, she will be fine when the video comes out. Plus her explosive airplay should help stabilize her HOT 100 position.

This. "S&M" is moving swiftly thanks to its video, from a very low position. Britney's holding well these last couple days, and when her video finally comes she'll be back into the Top 3.
