I want more for her

This isn't even like throwback r&b done great. I'd fully take Tinashe recording a cover of Ciara's Kiss & Tell and releasing that over this.

It's not even like she's just some girl who we think has potential and hasn't shown it. She's got the material on her mixtapes and Aquarius. This is a cute track. It doesn't stand out enough to really re-boot the era though.

I think it's a grower though. Hopefully this can do decently on Rhythmic and Pop. We've been waiting for the follow up album for a little too long.

The more I'm listening, the more I'm realizing just how commercial this is. This type of song [lyrically] appeals to the same demographic that was into "2 On". The production is pretty mediocre (completely agree with the Ciara comparisons), but at least radio seems to be on board. Let's just pray that she had to sacrifice quality and it will pay off so she can release better singles in the future.

I think it could be RCA's doing as they just want a hit from all this. I wonder if Tinashe even likes the song. She needs to put out a fire mixtape after Joyride is eventually released.

I don't think the real problem is that she is craving fame. The problem is mainly that she has to compromise. I mean label politics are horrible and we don't know the details of her contract. She has a very fast work ethnic and I feel this era basically horrible for her. I feel if it was up to her we would already had Joyride and would have gotten mixtape #5 around this time. But if she would get into an internal fight with RCA, she might end up like someone as JoJo who kept recording music and putting out singles, while her label never was satisfied, while she wanted to get out of her contract badly.
