RedOne, Will.I.Am, & David Guetta not so much. You see the "Halo/Already Gone" controversy after she worked with Ryan Tedder. Bey can only test these producers limits so far, but she won't be able to change EVERY producers sound like that.

I think people fail to realize that the expectations for an Indie artist isn't the same for a mainstream artist and vice versa. If an indie artist sells like 75k total, they are still getting paid almost as much as someone who does 750k (I'm guessing). I don't think anyone wants an album to fail, but indie artists aren't looking for or expected to get the same treatment as a major artist.

I know. The album fell flat. When you listen to it, you'll be like "I waited years for that?". Even her debut is better that people choose to ignore or regard as her worse because she had no control then.

B2B was fine when it was released because it came out before that throwback sound became a trend with Winehouse, Duffy, Sugababes, etc. Bionic should have been released in place of the gh that ended up flopping as well. People wanted a new album then, not a gh.
