Glee's executive producer has revealed that Anne Hathaway's cameo may be postponed until the third season.
In January, the show's creator Ryan Murphy confirmed that the Love & Other Drugs actress would appear in the Fox show - in a role that she had created herself.
At the time, he said: "The thing that's great about Anne Hathaway is that she created her own character and we just ran into her and we said 'Really?' So we're going to do that. We love her."
However, speaking to E! Online, Brad Falchuk said that the team are still "trying to make it happen".
"She's got a pretty tight schedule too," he explained. "So we don't know if it's going to happen this season."
Hathaway previously revealed that she would like to appear in the musical drama as Kurt (Chris Colfer)'s aunt.
Glee airs on Mondays at 9pm on E4 in the UK, and in the US on Tuesdays at 8/7c on Fox.
