jinzo makes a great point about "If I Were a Boy": It's not a particularly noteworthy song, but it's sung so brilliantly that I can't help but love it. (BC Jean's version is even better.) I'm okay with its elimination, but I stand by my score.
"Fight For This Love" deserved better. "Slow" is solid, but it's never been my favorite Kylie single, so whatever.
"On the Floor" made the top 50? Ahead of at least 30 objectively superior songs? Ew.

I assumed that On The Floor got kicked out in the bottom 20 and I had just forgotten its elimination.
And FFTL is what turned Cheryl from my least favorite of GA to my second fave. Kim was actually my favorite at the time.

OK elimination. IIWAB is awful... Should have been gone much sooner.
FFTL is not too bad, but climbed way too high.
Slow is pretty good. I love the beat, the flow. Could have been higher.
And even though I hated OTF for sampling Lambada at first, I still couldn't help but fall in love with it. Deserves the position though.

I forgot On The Floor was still here
Im OK with its elimination... Its generic and has Pitbull, yet I still use it whenever it comes on the radio

This past elimination actually hurts the most (so far).
Well, except So What.

Owing to work pressures and because this takes so damn long and because we've gotten the numbers seriously down, it's time that we make the switch-over to 4 eliminations a night.
So your first one...it's going to hurt. Bad. I don't want to eliminate it. There will be meltdowns. I'm not even overhyping this at all. It's atrocious.
And tonight will get worse and worse and worse. It's chaotic.

48. All Saints- Pure Shores (7.211)
Highest score: 10 x16 (jinzo, Ace Reject, Stevie, HaHa2011, madonnas, supaspaz, JDella11, Green, Sporefan, adrianbeane, berberocka, Pink Panther, VJoker, Dream, Chemist, Soma80)
You are sick in the head. SEEK THERAPY: 0 x2 (Strangergab, Mandarke)
An unflattering picture of All Saints:
How. Why? A true shocker of an elimination, All Saints really just delivered moody-pop perfection on this number. The soundtrack for Leonardo DiCaprio sexy-fest The Beach, this William Orbit-produced #1 saw the guy deliver some astonishing production far far before MDNA scraped the bargain bins of petrol stations local-wide. And speaking of angry lessers, Madonna was alleged to be "livid" when Orbit gave this to All Saints instead of her. According to rumours, it was a potential addition to Ray of Light. But let's thank f*ck that didn't happen.
Jinzo's verdict: 10
I cannot honestly verbalise how much I adore this song. Atmospheric. Mesmering. Fantasising. Relaxing. Ethereal. Perfect. Would be in or around my ideal Top 10 for sure.

Ah, ''Pure Shores'' would not have fit on ''Ray Of Light'' well. It's too simular to ''Frozen''.

47. Destiny's Child- Independent Women (Pt.1) (7.224)
Highest score: 10 x9 (backtoback, supaspaz, berberocka, Kool_Aid_King, Flashing Lights, Konichiwa, MP2K, Ace Reject)
Lowest score: 0 x1 (Cassiopeia)
We can always troll Beyoncé, but let's switch it up a bit by trolling Tenitra while JonathonLGardner's banned:
Let's have a kii: This features Farrah Franklin on vocals. Who is that?
This hit epitomised the concurrent mess that was the Destiny's Child franchise. A revolving door almost as deadly as the Sugababes, Matthew Knowles, father of Beyoncé, submitted this track to the Charlie's Angels soundtrack without even telling them. And then they let some hoodrat unknown called "Farrah" into the studio? Who is that?
The video itself features the girls trying out a number of Angels-related hobbies, including skydiving and martial arts. The latter would come in useful when it was time for Beyoncé to make Michelle cook her dinners and massage her feet. The song also spent 11 weeks at US #1. Beyhive stans ATRL-wide will desperately flap to add these receipts to Bey's solo career. But they belong to FARRAH. (Who is that?)
Jinzo's verdict: 6
One of the more quite average DC singles. It's certainly no Bug a Boo or Bootylicious.
