Pics sitcky, so what exactly does that mean? I know personal pics need permission but copyrighted ones too? Does that mean cant post anymore pics of celebs and etc. I mean they are copyrighted arent they?
As for the copyrighted photos, Joe is saying now that we should link to the source where the celebrity photos are found, instead of embedding them directly in the post. That way, we don't hold the responsibility for "hotlinking" them.
We can tell the activity level of the server by looking at our "server load average," which is a technical measurement. Basically, all you need to know is, the average should be 100% or less during normal use. If it gets too high (over 500% or so), the server crashes entirely.
Right now there are 135 people browsing ATRL and the server load average is 38%, which is fantastic. When we had about this many people on the old server at once, the average would've been 250% to 300% or so.
