Right now, you can snatch up 2D and 3D tickets for IMAX, Vue, Cineworld and Odeon screenings, though, as ever, the companies involved seem to be having a little trouble coping with demand. While plenty of smug gits have successfully made their bookings, loads of chumps have resorted to filling our Twitter feeds with whiny complaints instead. IMAX screenings in particular seem to have been hit hard by eager Star Wars fans, with the UK's flagship IMAX screen, the BFI IMAX at Waterloo, having to take its booking system offline.

I don't think so. Remember, with the exception of episode 3, all of the Star Wars films were PG. So Star Wars in general was always kid friendly. It was just brilliantly done in a way that it also resonated with adults through the mature themes the films had such as good vs evil, betrayal, temptation, etc. Disney in the 90's was also great with that balance especially with movies like The Lion King. Even though Disney has gone down in quality since the 2000's, the directors, producers and everyone involved with the film are still good so I'm sure it'll deliver.

Disney seem to be giving Kathleen Kennedy quite a long leash for Star Wars, they're not even including the Disney Castle at the start of it. Which is disappointing as I'd love to see how they'd Star-Wars-ify it.


Urgh, just found out about what the big Orb on the poster is, I'm slayed. Bet the Rebels wish they had kept the Death Star

Everybody knows the 00s decade was pretty tough, but they started rebounding towards the end, with Bolt and The Princess and the Frog, when John Lasseter made the move from Pixar to Disney Animation.

They are going through a second Renaissance right now with Tangled, Wreck It Ralph, Frozen and Big Hero 6. They have all been successful and praised and a couple of them are considered new classics

I don't it's a problem that the Disney castle isn't going to be appearing at the start. None of the Marvel movies have the Disney castle at the start, despite it being owned by Disney

So the movie is playing at 6:45 in the morning here the cinema does normally not even open till 10 or 9 for kids movies How many people are they expecting to go the first week ?
